First and foremost, there's an amazing community of people who just want to play in the mud. It's mostly adults, and everyone brings their own unique touch to the studio. The overall atmosphere just feels good—it's a welcoming and comfortable space to be in. There are many art books to check out while lounging on the couches, and the studio is filled with plants. The giant window by the wheels provides wonderful natural light, making it an inspiring place to create.
The instructors are eager to teach and help, making it an excellent source of community. It's a place where you can create, engage, and exchange ideas with others. There's a great sense of community here, and it feels like a second home.
Oh, and did I mention the studio dogs? They add a lovely touch to the already friendly environment.
Classes are available nearly every day of the week, catering to all skill levels. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced potter, there’s something for everyone. They offer 6-week beginner through advanced wheel throwing classes, a 4-week wheel foundation class, a Raku 1-Night Experience, 6-week Raku classes, sculpture classes, and 3-hour Bowl-In-One and hand-building classes.
Additionally, there are 40+ hours of open studio time available 6 days a week, providing access to a wide array of pottery tools, equipment, and resources. The value of the classes and the available studio time can’t be beat—it's a very good deal for anyone looking to dive into pottery.

Read moreThis place is not worth your time. This was one of the most unprofessional experiences I ever had. This man Richard held our bowls for over a month just to give me some cracked, chipped and damaged bowls. It’s honestly ridiculous. You want to support small businesses but then you have experiences with unprofessional and unethical people and it really makes you realize why doing business with larger organizations is better. This place is very unwelcoming - I am a brown Muslim man and my wife is Black - the amount of stares we got just walking in here was a thing on its own but obviously Richard has nothing to do with that. He didn’t even try to contact me about our bowls - I had to make contact every single time. This man got his money and forgot about us the next day. If you wanna waste 2 hours of your day and get chipped, damaged product after having to hound this man, go here. If you respect your time and money, find any...
Read moreI hate writing reviews like this, but transparency is important! I want to start off with a positive: it was really fun learning to create the bowls & the class itself was super fun! Everyone was super kind and helpful. The staff, especially was super fun and knowledgeable. The price was up there for one session, but on par for other pottery places, especially with the direction and help provided.
Unfortunately, I never got the bowl back. They said two weeks for the bowls to be ready, but it’s now been 5 months and they completely ghosted us, no updates, and no final product has been shared. I’m super sad about it!
TLDR; fun atmosphere, great staff, but 0 communication post class, and they might not share the final product with you.
UPDATE: Have still never received the pottery and there it no way to contact the building. I emailed, called, and tried to find them on social media. I wouldn’t...
