Wonderful family owned bakery, very kind staff, NOT the place to go if you have food allergies or dietary restrictions. I had a bad experience last year and forgot to right a review but am here to try to help others stay safe.

I have severe nut allergies. Cannolis are my favorite dessert and a lot of places put nuts on them. I called one day to explain my situation and to ask if they have nut free cannolis. I was pleasantly surprised when they responded that they could make mine to order without nuts! I went in, placed the order and mentioned the phone conversation. When I got the cannolis I also verbally confirmed that they did not contain nuts.

I went home and ate one and immediately I had a reaction. My boyfriend then dissected a couple of them and found that there were pieces of peanut that made their way into the chocolate chips that coated the ends, not visible unless you bit in. I’m guessing they dunk all of their cannolis into a bucket of chocolate chips and aren’t careful about sharing it with a nut mixture or something. Anyways, the cannolis tasted great but this was an extremely dangerous situation and I was really sick.

I understand as a person navigating the world with allergies that not everyone can accommodate me and if they had said that they couldn’t I wouldn’t have left a negative review but to say you can and then not follow through was a big bummer and is...

I had a bad experience with a pizza order last weekend. I love the bakery but called a pizza order and was told to pick it up 30 minutes later. I thought Thursday was a little long for a pick up order, but didn't comment. I arrived 20 minutes later. The young lady who assisted me checked and told me the pizza wasn't ready yet. I picked out some bakery items. The young lady went to the back for a LONG time, then came back out and told me my pizza was going to be ANOTHER HALF HOUR. I understand labor is short all over, but I don't understand why my time was wasted. I should have preferred the teen server just say "they haven't had a chance to start your pizza yet" and let me go somewhere else. Of course, no one was apologetic at all. I had to go through the pain of getting a refund minus the cost of the 2 old congealed slices I settled on for my dinner. It sil be a while before I return. ...

We ordered a custom birthday cake for my granddaughter's birthday and it was perfect and beautiful. The cake was also delicious! They have fantastic, personal customer service at this bakery. The owner actually called me a few days later to ensure that we were happy with our order. I can't remember the last time a business has done that. We will definitely be returning to this bakery. Also, their pizza by the slice is great and also super convenient. Update: It's been over two years since my original review, and we continue to patronize this wonderful bakery. Fantastic baked goods, yummy deli foods, and great service have us coming back time and again. 2nd update on 10/30/2022: We still absolutely love this place. I just returned home with yummy crullers, an apple fritter, cupcakes, cookies, and dinner rolls. It's the perfect place to go on a Sunday morning!!! Your family will...
