Don't attempt to use their punch card for the free ice cream. I had a punch card that took me about 2 years to fill the 10 purchases. So tonight I made the 10th purchase. Then proceed to hand the now valid punch card for a free small cyclone to my wife. The lady owner wouldn't accept it. She said you just used it on your purchase and I said and now my wife would like to redeem it for the free sm cyclone. She would not accept it and STUCK to her guns over a $3.90 sm cyclone. She said it's a customer convenient when they accept the punch card, so in other words it's at their discretion and she chose to not accept it. I grew up in royal oak (1980s) and have been a patron since then, then this. I now live in Grand Blanc and WILL never travel again to them. Shame on them for poor service over a $3.90 cyclone to a very long term...

I had to change my review after the incident that happened last year. We were coming here three nights a week. When one day my daughter got a cup of vanilla ice cream. She said it tasted horrible so my wife tried it and she said it was terrible. So I went back to the window and said something and they tasted the vanilla coming out of the machine and said it was fine. They did not replace my daughters ice cream or refund us. So I will not shop here again. I did not expect them to taste the ice cream in the cup but rather believe a customer who just spent almost $25 dollars on ice cream for the family and just wanted a plain cup of vanilla fixed. What terrible customer service. For a $4 dollar desert they have lost my $50 to $75 worth of business a week and now have this...

The best custard ice cream! I am picky because I can't tolerate most Soft serve Ice cream, (perhaps it's lactose intolerance?) but at Carmen's Dairy, just N. Of 14 Mile on Rochester Rd. In Clawson, Michigan, Their custard Ice cream is marvelous! I usually get the chocolate/vanilla twist in a cone. They have every kind of frozen treat & sundae there. They also have a menu of homemade items like sandwiches & banana bread. We enjoy sitting at their outdoor cafe tables on a nice summer night; Eating our favorite ice cream. The best part for me is that I feel really good afterwards And It tastes much better than the other soft serves as...
