I called needing a Keyboard replaced in a Dell XPS Laptop - it was for work and previous user had smashed the keyboard and the entire keyboard needed to be replaced. I took it to Microcenter (that is where my work prefers to send our hardware for repair) but they were Not able to complete before an upcoming work trip. Microcenter cost was HIGH! I was quoted 150 parts and 150 labor for replacing a bad spacebar (but needed entire keyboard replacement)
Picked up from My Phone looked for good local options and found MCS. this guy is great and while he did mention it would require opening the laptop to replace the hardware (keyboard) but his cost was HALF of what Microcenter wanted! i immediately had him go forward to order the parts and scheduled a day to drop off. he would have parts tuesday and would have it back to me the next day. he is a man of his word and even dropped off/picked up for free!

My hard drive crashed on my desktop and it put me in a big bind because I run my small business off of my computer. I was more than a bit devastated. 22 years of business was gone. I left a message with Ken, he called back within minutes. I told him what had happened and he said that he can swing by and pick the computer up and see what he could do. He left with my sick computer and called me later in the day and told me what he had found and what he could do. I was ever so grateful. Had my computer back within a couple of days and his rates are extremely reasonable. I wish I had found Ken earlier. Read moreI really liked going to Modern Computer Solutions for help with my custom pc. I built it 4 years ago and it didn't want to boot (start). I went to Microcenter first and they gave me a bad recommendation which cost me buying a new cpu cooler when I didn't need to because afterward it didn't want to boot again. Ken luckily found the issue, tested my pc for any possible problems, and waited for me to come pick it up when it was close to closing time. It was fair value for repair and labor and he was really professional while talking to me through the phone to make sure what was happening and what he would recommend doing.
