KFC — Restaurant in Clawson

I wanted to get some unhealthy as you can get fried chicken, LOL. My parents would pick up a bucket of chicken on Sunday for dinner. It was always so good. I have not had KFC in a very long time, way before covid19 hit. I saw that this place had some negative reviews about customer service and food quality, so my expectations were low. I pull in, and there were a few people in line, but it moved quickly. I give bonus points for that. It seems they have figured out if they are going to make money, you have to get people thru the drive-thru quickly when the dining room is closed. The young man working the drive-thru was nice and made it a very positive experience. I wish I would have got his name. He was awesome. I ordered the 3 PC. Chicken. Box - 2 Thighs, 1 Drum. I get back to my house, and I understand that I am a little over ten minutes away from the restaurant and know that will impact the food quality. I got home and was breaking out the food, and the Chicken was still very hot like it just came out of the fryer, as well as the mashed potatoes and gravy and biscuits. I love KFC Mashed Potatoes and Gravy. Their gravy is like crack, lol, 😂 so good. I got the two apple pies for a dollar. I had a little trouble getting them out of the packaging that I ended up ripping them open. Came here with a friend and ordered two 4 pc tender combos. When we reached the drive thru window we were told to pull ahead and wait for our order to be brought out to us. We had to wait an additional 5 minutes on top of the normal wait time and they didn't even include the dipping sauce that is supposed to come with the meals. They also made a mess with the added hot sauce that my friend requested with his meal, putting way too much on. Today I returned and told the same guy taking my order not to forget the dipping sauce. He said to tell him when I got to the window. When I got to the window I asked for dipping sauce and hot sauce. He put the dipping sauce in the bag but no hot sauce! I then had to get back in line but by the time I got my hot sauce the food was no longer hot...terrible service. Came back for lunch today, the manager must be deaf because I specifically said I wanted ranch and ketchup with my order when I pulled up to the window, I only got ranch, no ketchup.
