Love this park! It has a lot of great amenities and can't beat that it's the local park for the cute city of Clawson! The wood chips trail circles the perimeter and provides a great route for walks and runs throughout the day. The east side of the park is more wooded and allows for some nature time, plenty of trees for shade and hammock hangs plus bbq grills. There is also multiple playground options for children, two volleyball nets and a covered pavillion. The west side of the park houses multiple baseball fields, soccer nets, the football field circles by the track, a tennis court, and a very impressive fenced-in skate board park. There's a football field with a track used by Clawson High School and others, and there are multiple play structures for kids of various ages, a walking path, and a pavilion with nearby restrooms for group events. We go for events normally and most the lots are made into handicap only making finding spot to park during events very difficult no lots near by and most the side streets don't allow parking. The park itself most the year isn't bad large not much to do activities wise but an okay place to walk not my favorite but not the worst it has decent amount of trees to hide from direct sunlight in the sunmertime.
