They attended youmacon on November 4. The first person at the front add me to the list to get a tattoo from Josh. Said it would be 250-300 dollars & a 2-3 hour wait with 2 others in front of me. No problem with any of that. Came back around the 2 hour mark. That same person was still there & said he had the pricing wrong & it was more expensive, okay no issue & still had to wait. Came back around a little after 4 hours talked to someone else to see where I was at & still had 1 more person in front of me. Took a couple laps & finally the next person was getting a tattoo. After 6 hours of waiting (huge difference in time) I go by there to someone else about to get a tattoo from Josh. They allowed someone to cut in front of me after 6 hours of waiting. I know for a fact the guy who tried saying it was a mistake was lying. How awful to make someone wait 6 hours when told 2-3 & allow someone to go before them when that wasn't their place in line. I waited around to not screw them over when ready to leave after 4 hours of waiting but have no problem screwing me over. The person they allowed to cut in front of me didn't even start their tattoo when I confronted them.
Edit to the reply: No one contacted me at any point. I walked up multiple times to see where I was & checked my phone constantly. To lie & say that is insane as I didn't attempt anything they had there so I did not lose my spot. I understand it was busy but to allow someone to go in front of me after waiting 6HOUR. When I should have been before her (because first come first served right?) I was looking for a tattoo artist to do an anime sleeve. Which this was the start & was hoping to continue with the entire thing with the same person. This does pertain to your busy as you had no problem screwing someone over who waited around just so I wasn't screwing...
Read moreI was looking for a tattoo parlor and came across Red Arrow Collective after doing tons of research online. They stuck out to me and so I decided to to an online consultation. I'm so glad that I did. Allison, I believe is her name, who handled the email and scheduling was extremely pleasant and easy to work with. Once I got to my appointment I met Josh Legend. Let me tell you, this guy is awesome. He takes pride in what he does. He was great to talk to. At times I forgot he was even giving me a tattoo because the conversation was awesome. I felt like I was talking to a friend who I've known for a while.
The shop is not dirty and dingy like some places I've been too. Josh was super clean, his shop was super clean and the atmosphere was incredibly welcoming.
I sent an idea of my tattoo and said this is what I want. Josh took my design and literally made it better than what I wanted. The entire process was super easy and comforting and I swear there were only a couple times it hurt while he was giving me my tattoo.
He was even able to fit in a smaller tattoo design I was wanting and literally saved me from getting the wrong lettering by making sure to quicky research what I was asking for. I feel he went above and beyond what any other artist would have done.
I've had three other tattoos before this visit from different shops in the area and those were all bad experiences. I'm happy to say that this was the first great experience I've had getting a tattoo. Not only did he do a great job with my tattoos, he and his receptionistbdid a great job with the whole process. I'd definitely go back and I'd never think of going anywhere else.
This is the one and only place to go for a great experience and a great high...
Read moreI started at a tattoo (sat for 8 hours) with Gino who did a phenomenal job. I put down a 100 dollar deposit and decided to allow them to keep the deposit for the next session. Little did I know that this visiting artist was waiting for a visa extension to be approved. The evening of my first session the owner (Josh) took Gino across the border resulting in his deportation back to the UK. I went in person to find out if the tattoo could be finished. They stated I could go to Canada before the deportation or the owner would complete himself. As it was around thanksgiving I opted out of going to Windsor. I never heard from the tattoo parlor so I inquired via phone call right before the new year about getting on the books with the owner so the tattoo could be finished. It has been a month and I have yet to hear back from them. Although the artist did a phenomenal job, I have an unfinished tattoo and a deposit being withheld. I will be disputing this with my bank. I should have demanded a refund or a free session to complete the tattoo as the owner as well as the other staff members were aware of his immigration status. It is extremely unprofessional to do this to anyone, especially someone who was willing and ready to invest 5k+ in tattoo work at this shop. Get a receipt, don’t pay cash, and make sure your artist is in the states legally. Anger is an...
