This is a very nice and open park that I did not even pay any attention to until I was looking around for a place to give my Briard some exercise during what was starting to be a long and pent up winter for big dogs...with all of this sudden snow coming in lately.The one thing about parks in winter though...that all should be aware of is that there will be the naturally occurring elements of snow and ice...as well as services such as restrooms and vending areas not being available for the winter....so this is not the time for young children...or ...the elderly to be out here...
Read moreThis park has as many mosquitoes as it does blades of grass. Like you can't even enjoy the pleasant scenery because you get bit immediately! My Husband and I were walking on the trail with our son in the stroller & we didn't even make it through. Too many mosquitoes! We had to go back to the car. They need the City out there to spray or something!!! Terrible first time experience. Looks nice, clean and we'll kept but at the expense...
Read moreNice park thats never too busy. I come here for the 9 hole disc golf course. It's a much easier course than other nearby courses but still challenging enough to be fun. It's one of the best places to learn or get better at disc golf. A world championship was played here circa 1990ish. Has public restrooms, walking trails, and picnic areas.
Awesome little park to go for a walk, hang out and picnic, or play a round...
