So. This is mostly a Grub Hub Story, but it wasn't Grubhubs fault. They showed up & delivered what they were given. Let me start by saying, this should absolutely be a 1 Star review, but the manager at the location was very professional and attempted, within his power, to help. So, his efforts garnered the 2nd star. Quick backstory as to why this was a total bummer. I just got back from 2 week vacation camping. The last couple of days were bad storms so everything was wet and dirty. So I was at home, in sweats, trying to wash, clean, and dry all my equipment. I'm tired from cleaning up campsite, then driving all day. I have my truck half unloaded. I'm hungry and I figured, instead of wings from a pizza joint, why not get Buffalo Wild Wings? So I placed a large ($60) order. When the order arrived they were batting around 25%. They missed 3 flavors of wings. The wings that DID arrive were not ordered at all. Now this SUCKS but its not the end of the world right? I'll snack on the correct ones (the lowly 25%) until they fix it and drop off the right stuff... right? WRONG! I call the store and the manager says he cannot have Grub Hub deliver the corrected order. So my options are be credited for the order or come pick up the corrected order. Again, I appreciate the manager getting to the bottom of the situation in a timely manner, but a credit doesn't get me fed. I think we can all agree that the ONLY way to correct the mistake, is to deliver the food I ordered and paid for. That was not an option provided to the manager, so he couldn't do that. So now I have to clean out and move the camping stuff in my truck so I can drive there. WHATS THE POINT OF GRUBHUB IF I'M PICKING UP THE FOOD? I guarantee if a pizza & wings place messed up so bad, they'd send their driver back out with the correct order. The manager gave me a $25 gift card for the issue, again he tried to help, but the inconvenience was worth way more than that... that's why I ordered $60 worth of wings in the first place. I now see other reviews saying people have had similar problems. Use Caution ordering from here. (Approx 3 weeks ago we did a pickup at location and luckily checked before we left. Read moreThis problem happened on 4/6/2024, two weeks ago. I sent a message to BWW corporate on 4/5/2024 but so far have received no response. Here is the abbreviated story of our experience:
We arrived at your restaurant around 7:15 PM on 6 APR 2024 and we were a party of seven. The visit started off on the wrong foot because we sat for about 20 minutes until I told the manager that no one had even approached our table. Soon a waiter arrived, and we ordered drinks and an appetizer. The appetizer of cheese curds was good. The drinks arrived, less the water we asked for, and napkins were provided, less any silverware. We ordered three draft beers, and the glasses were not completely full.
We then ordered dinner which traditional wings, boneless wings, chicken wraps, etc. When the food arrived, every dish was cold. We asked for the manager, and he resubmitted the order and assured the replacement food would be satisfactory. The replacement food was marginally warmer than the first but not what I would call right out of the fryer.
Meanwhile our waiter was very slow with drink refills. Our glasses were empty, and we had to flag him down. I considered going to the bar and getting refills myself. When he brought the new drinks, he didn’t take the old glasses, so I cleared my own table and took the used glasses to an adjacent table where guests had recently left. (Also, this table remained un-bussed for at least 45 minutes and never was cleaned before we left.) Our bill came to almost $150. We received poor food and, more importantly, poor service. The manager did not comp us for any of the food. I left a $0.13 tip. In the parking lot our waiter came out and asked me if I wanted my 13 cents change, clearly a confrontation. Although the food issue was not his fault, at least I believe it wasn’t, I cannot and will not reward poor service. We spent $150 on an awful experience. Read moreLet me just say this, if I could leave no stars I would. ASHLEY was our waitress. I don’t know if she’s new, had a bad day, or just is the way she is but our experience here with her as our server was the worst I have ever gotten. I was a server for 8+ years so I give people the benefit of the doubt, I know what it’s like to be busy but this was FAR from a “busy day” for Ms. Ashley. She was beyond rude to my family and I. We had to flag her down to fill our waters, our food took 45 mins but obviously that’s not something she controls. However, that was another issue with this location. We had another waitress clear our table, grab our side salad for us before our meals came out and also she kindly grabbed our bill for us because Ashley clearly was avoiding our table. She would walk by and not ONCE did she ask us how our food was or if we needed anything. We actually were confused when another person came out which I’m sure was just the “food runner” and kinda smartly asked if she was going to be our waitress because ours wasn’t coming by. By the end of our dinner, we waited another 20 mins to get our change back which Ashley then threw into my sisters hands and walked away without a word. We did absolutely nothing to this woman. We are great tippers. But not this time. Will not return to this location although it’s closest to my house. Oh and not to mention food came out cold, I ate it because I was starving but my sister returned hers. She ordered a cake which is pre made and just needs to be taken out on a plate and it took another 20 mins.
