Clayton is a fabulous community, that might be a bit out of the way, but it is worth the travel time. So many great hiking trails, restaurants, small boutique businesses, and a true, friendly small town Americana culture. Clayton Station makes for a terrific destination. Arya's Alterations is my go to place for all of my sewing, hemming, and clothes alterations. There are restaurants, a big and friendly Safeway there. So many businesses, that I can get everything done in one stop. And the other big draw for me is that Sloat, (my favorite gardening center) is across the street, and down a bit. It has several retail stores, Safeway grocery store, Dental Offices, Hair salons, Travis Credit Union Bank, Computer USA for computer repairs, Coffee shops including a nice Starbucks, Fitness and workouts, tons of places to eat a meal or take outs and the list shops goes on and on.
