Clayton is a fabulous community, that might be a bit out of the way, but it is worth the travel time. So many great hiking trails, restaurants, small boutique businesses, and a true, friendly small town Americana culture. Clayton Station makes for a terrific destination. Arya's Alterations is my go to place for all of my sewing, hemming, and clothes alterations. There are restaurants, a big and friendly Safeway there. So many businesses, that I can get everything done in one stop. And the other big draw for me is that Sloat, (my favorite gardening center) is across the street, and down a bit. Clayton Station is what I refer to as a strip mall. It has several retail stores, Safeway grocery store, Dental Offices, Hair salons, Travis Credit Union Bank, Computer USA for computer repairs, Coffee shops including a nice Starbucks, Fitness and workouts, tons of places to eat a meal or take outs and the list shops goes on and on. The Clayton Station has an enormous amount of shops to visit. The parking is easy. They have huge trees to provide shade so your car is not baking in the sun.
