Let’s start by saying whoever they have doing their crawfish at the DJ booth, is a great choice, and their flavor is amazing and service quick…

Okies, itself, however, only gets 3 stars and that’s due to effort… First it’s hard to tell who’s working there, so you get overlooked when you are seated and we sat a good 15 min before even be addressed and that’s only cause I had to go find someone.

Second, by the time we were asked for drinks, our crawfish (from DJ booth, was already delivered ) upon getting our drinks, we then ordered an appetizer and an additional entree…30 min later we stopped someone to ask if we could also add a pretzel to this order..the pretzel came out within 10 min - but still no entree or appetizer we’d originally ordered. By then we’d finished the crawfish and were working on the pretzel and we’re about to call it quits…and then are asked if we “Wanted a box for our pretzel” by a different waitress seeming to want to get us out of there. I explained we were waiting for food so then the original waiter comes back over, asking what we had 🙄 only reason we didn’t get up and leave by then was cause our son was having so much fun playing in their “yard” area….that place alone is Okies’ saving grace and I can see why families come here for that…

Service was less than mediocre, our waiter was the only one who was “nice” attitudes of other waitresses there literally were rude and seemed annoyed… and after overhearing tables by us and their orders getting mixed up and delayed as well, I can only give this place 3 stars at best. And it’s due to their yards/ambiance.

Cool relaxed concept, but in dire need of...

Update: Went back a third time and it sucked again 🤦‍♀️ same drinks we ordered last time were so undrinkable we sent it all back. Not something i do typically. Being extremely slow hasn't changed, at least they're consistent at this. Not sure we're going to return with such inconsistency. First time I went here, hated it. Went back, because everyone deserves a 2nd chance and I'm so glad I did.

The coconut mojito ($9) was sooooooo good I'd return just for those. If it were a little creamier I'd be drunk, there's no way I'd stop drinking them 😜.

This time I tried the Thai quesadillas, what a messy delight! I'm planning to try all their Thai inspired options. Also got brussel sprouts. Meh. They were fine, no one has beat the 4 seasons or Star cinema grills brussel sprouts yet.

Lastly the service.. maybe I have high expectations... But not many places nail this. Sat there unspoken to for about 15 mins. Finally someone took our drink order. I don't think you actually have a dedicated server here, I'm still confused and trying to figure that out. I also wasn't sure if servers came to the table or we needed to order at the bar.
