Ever since I moved to Florida from New York City, I've had a heck of hard time finding a pool hall where I can breathe oxygen and not clouds of nicotine, YuCK!... Goodness am I so DaNG Thankful that I came across Family Billiards. From the outside I was a little skeptical but to my surprise it was such a welcoming environment! Just like one of those cool hole-in-the-wall treasure finds! 🤗 ... It's a pretty chill, laid back spot with no tough crowds that cause trouble... What I love the most is that I can actually Breathe in there! Like actual oxygen and not 2nd hand cigarette smoke!!! That alone deserves 5 stars! ⭐ Especially because it shows the owner actually cares about his customers health and for us to enjoy playing pool without choking on all those gross chemicals so from a First Responder to a Manager that also cares about others, thank you for keeping your establishment cigarette free! ⭐ ~ Not to mention, he got the most coldest, most refreshing beers selection I've had in a while! 🍻 Along with the cool juke boxes with old school classics and a variety of music genre to enjoy while playin a couple of hands withfriends and family... Just a tiiiiiny iiiitty bit of advise, the place is ery cool, but could use a little fresh touch ups or give it that 60's sports bar/Billiards look 😁, that would be neat!!! ... Either way, the owner is so awesome he just made himself another new regular! Thank you for your hospitality! Look forward to joining a team to play in tournaments if you have one 🎱😎🍻🎶📻🎶... I'd give Family Billiards 10 Stars all day if I could!! Can't wait to go back again... ~P.S. Note to Owner: Keep up your awesome heart felt spirit, your great customer service and how you make everyone feel like...
Read moreThey don’t allow smoking or vaping here but smells very musty inside. The place looks like they haven’t changed a thing since it opened. Bring your own pool cue because the ones they have there over 20 cues but maybe 1 or 2 you can actually use chunks missing like they where pick up from the garbage just throw them out or buy new ones just bring your own pool cue. Bathroom very dirty. Nice little spot if they actually cared about the place. Price was good $2 dollars an hour very cheap to be honest, beer too expensive 8 dollars a bottle, no food but who will eat there with that musty smell anyways and not very clean. Lots of potential if you update the place and just change your prices like 5 dollars an hour or 10 dollars per person. People mostly stay 1 to 3 hours anyways. The owner is a good person just needs to update the place and put...
Read moreHas a very familiar feeling to it. It's like the "Cheers" of pool halls. Everyone is family, they remember me, my friends that come with me, and my family by name. This business is casual and has been around for a long time- it's a "dive" pool hall with ten pool tables and a sitting area with a television at the entrance. They might not be the classiest establishment to the prudes out there but they are inexpensive and very friendly. All ages are welcome - as a forewarning, smoking inside is allowed (another reason I love this place). They are open until 2AM, 2:30AM on most nights and serve beer, coffee, and common concession. They have a modern jukebox and other games like chess behind the counter. Jack, the main attendant, will take...
