This is the worst service I've ever received. I often deal with repair companies and vendors as part of my day to day job. I sent in a Lab.Gruppen amp. They didn't process the order that was received in December until January 8th. They have not once updated us regarding this and its February 13. I called them and they stated they would have to look at parts and slammed the phone down on me immediately after. I waited an hour or so because I assumed it was accidental. I then called back and detailed the previous call and the person answering on the front desk got angry and said "Don't get loud with me. I'm just the messenger." I did not raise my voice. I merely expressed my concern that this amp had been sitting for so long and neither myself nor my client had been contacted. Then she interrupted several times and put me on hold.
Shortly thereafter I was on the line with Curtis. He was less abrupt but did not apologize for the hang up, the rudeness or the lateness of the amp. He stated the amp was waiting on parts. I asked for a general turn around. He said he didn't have any information. I asked him to send the amp back then as we couldn't wait another two months with no updates. He told me that even though the repair was under warranty he would charge me a fee. I asked what the fee was and he refused to tell me. I asked several more times and he still refused to tell me. He kept telling me to just wait on the parts. I insisted and he told me I had to reach out to Lab.Gruppen directly and give them my RMA. I asked for a phone number and he told me there isn't one. I asked for a website and he told me to Google it and go on their support tab. I asked again for him to send it back and he told me he wouldn't. He actually refused to send me my client's property after telling me he would but he would charge me even though the part is under warranty. I've still yet to receive any written communication and I'm reaching out to Lab.Gruppen to let them know that High Energy Repair shouldn't be an...
Read moreMy experience was for a warranty repair. So going in, I had expectations that there would be a delay (as one might expect). I shipped my unit off on 2/10 and I didn't hear anything so after about a month I called. When I called they said the delay was getting the part from the manufacturer. At this point I find it important to point out that the issue was a button that wasn't working.
I called weekly after that and the issue turned to waiting for the UPS slip from the manufacturer. I called every week for two months, trying to be understanding that this was a warranty repair (probably not their main business).
By May, I was told that I was 16th in line....3 months after I sent it in. During this period I got conflicting stories. The story was either the manager needed to approve the shipping so we were waiting on that, or that it should be shipped out tomorrow.
During my last call, the associate that worked at the front desk, Mike, hung up on me (and I was not being rude at all).
Finally, I called the manufacturer since High Energy said that they were the reason for the delay. The guy I spoke to from the warranty department said that everything on their end had been taken care of months ago. From his tone and the reviews on this page, this seems to be a trend with this shop.
Luckily, the manufacturer ended up sending me a brand new unit since these jokers couldn't get their stuff together to repair a simple button in three months.
Seriously, avoid at all costs. If I could give them a rating below 1 star, I would. I've never experienced such disorganization and such poor customer service in my life. They make the DMV look like a 5 star establishment. I'm a professional musician, and I was hoping to use this unit for gigs (which I will use the new unit for). However I had to cancel a few acoustic gigs and not look for new acoustic gigs due to the delay. I guess they assume that since they aren't professional...no...
Read moreI have a JBL speaker that needed service under warranty and was taken to there office on May 20, 2917. I was told it would be covered and wound take a couple weeks, which I thought was a little excess but left it to be repaired. On 6/9 I called and was told it wasn't ready. On 6/16 I was told part was on order and should be done next week. On 6/23 I was told part was in and would be done in a couple days. On 7/5 I was told that it just got thru warranty and should be a couple days. On 7/7 I was in area on stopped by to pick it up and was told they had not put it thru warranty yet and could not release it until it cleared. I have been waiting on this now for going on 2 months and it is being held hostage because they can't complete the warranty in a timely manner. Please...do not take anything here and expect to get it back in a timely fashion. I will never take anything there again. If need be , I may have to...
