We went for a Yelp Elite event and this was such a nice treat! I was surprised of how nice and clean the place looked inside. It’s a very simple concept that works well. We had the privilege of meeting to owner of Sweet Bean and she told us how it was named after her dog that passed away. She was so nice and friendly which made our visit so nice. Along with the free chocolates we got extras of different flavors and also a couple of her brothers blondie brownies in which the proceeds go to charity. Even though we took it to go we were able to enjoy it at a new coffee shop we stopped at and they taste amazing! I really enjoyed the old-timey Frank Sinatra music playing in the background which goes well with the vibe and decor of the place. We hope the place does really well and we’ll have to come back when we need our fancy chocolate fix.

Sweet Bean is the best! They offer all things chocolate and sweet. Nestled in the collinwood area right next to the La salle theater. Sweet bean’s specialty are hand painted bonbons! Beautiful and delicious, they are made of a chocolate shell and different types of fillings. They also offer homemade marshmallows and chocolate covered just about anything; pretzels, Oreos, nuts/dragee, caramels etc. Sweet bean has drinks like coffees and Italian sodas. They have a great mocha which they make with real chocolate straight from the machines. Sweet bean is also known for their bean to bar chocolate that they make from scratch. Whether you are looking for a gift for someone, a corporate gift, wedding favors or just some amazing chocolate, you definitely have to give them a visit!

What a gem of a neighborhood chocolate shop. Molded confections with unique and creative flavors and shapes. I bought some corporate gifts, and they were extremely helpful and patient with helping me choose. Yes, they may cost more than the drugstore candy, but their chocolate is tasty and worth it. Plus, it's female-owned! It's worth a trip out of your way for a special gift AND simply a quality product.
