I had a bad experience just now. In my opinion their service is terrible, but that may not apply to everyone. I ordered about $450 worth of baskets (4 bella italia vino wine gift basket). One of them was shipped to my office because I wanted to personally hand one of my clients the basket and the other three were shipped to different clients personal addresses. When I received the package it was an entirely different basket. it was 3 completely different cheaper wines instead of 4 nicer wines I had though I purchased. At this point I was worried about the ones that shipped already! The basket i personally gave I had to give because he was leaving back to Florida so I couldnt exchange it. I called customer service talked for a bit and they said "we have no clue what shipped. we had 10,000 orders" blah blah blah and an the end they offered me 5$ back and they wanted to call my clients to see what baskets they got! what a joke. All I asked for was another basket or 3 more bottles to some how even it out and they refused to. Such bad business. over all i received 5$ back and possibly 3 other wrong baskets. I HOPE MY CLIENTS DONT THINK IM CHEAP lol over all Capalbo's takes no responsibility. Im literally a paying customer (450$ spent) and they couldnt even send me like 1 extra bottle to shut me up. Read moreCostumer service was awful. I received a gift basket for my birthday. While it was a wonderful sentiment from a family member. The gift contained chocolate that had melted and then harden again. No big deal I thought. But it also contained tree nuts. I have a toddler with a severe nut allergy. I tried calling them since they had a 100% satisfaction guarantee and asked if I could return it and was told I would have to pay for shipping. I tried explaining that I was a single mom and can’t work because of COVID. I have no extra money to ship something back. The costumer service rep was cold and told me to just donate it. Like problem solved.
I then told her I spent a whole night in the ER because my child barely touched one of the candies. I’m just exhausted. Not satisfied at all. Someone who doesn’t have that much money either spent their hard earn money on this and I am simply asking for them to be refunded. And show some compassion. I can’t pay the shipping fee and am just asking that they send me a label. Simple compassion.

Read moreI dont know why they offer to let you choose delivery date when they have no intention of keeping it. If you want your gift to arrive on time, do NOT buy from here. I requested a delivery on 12/19 and when 12/18 came I emailed asking the status. I was told I would recieve my tracking info that night but shipping is delayed. If shipping is delayed why dont you ship earlier??? I recieved my tacking info that night but after tracking it I saw FedEx wasnt in possession of the package until the day I asked it to be delivered. On top of that, I asked to cancel and was told no, I have to refuse the package, even though it hadnt shipped yet. So what do I do then, do I call the recipieent and tell them to refuse a gift shipment? This place is beyond unprofessional. I wish I could post 0 stars
UPDATE Apparantly after leaving a one star review, they figured out how to recal a package. Thats just sad that when I call them they can't do that, but leave a review and its miraculously possible. Stay away from this company at all costs!
Update 2 After saying I would recieve a refund, they never sent it. These people are crooks! I had to go to my bank to try and get the money back. Avoid...
