WOW! Taste of Tuscany was absolutely DELICIOUS! We had ordered take-out and it had taken about an hour (which the hostess had told us over the phone). Our family had ordered a few dishes and all were super flavorful, piping hot, and were beautifully cooked.
10/10 | VEAL PICCATA OVER ANGEL HAIR PASTA: had enjoyed their Veal Piccata over angel hair pasta and it was so good - there was 3 pretty large pieces of veal, plenty of pasta, and lots of capers. The lemon sauce was made to perfection, although it was a bit greasy. I cannot recommend the veal enough - it was pounded super thin, wasn't chewy, and melted in your mouth.
10/10 | RIGATONI w/ VODKA SAUCE: My brother and sister had ordered the Rigatoni with Vodka Sauce and it was out of this world. The flavor of the sauce coated every piece of rigatoni without it being drowned like a soup. The sauce was so good.
10/10 | EGGPLANT PARMIGIANA PLATTER: My cousin/aunt split an Eggplant platter and much like the veal, it was sliced thin and floured/breaded just enough to coat the eggplant. It was in another great red sauce and was super flavorful as well. This portion was great for 2 people to split.
10/10 | CHICKEN FRANCESE: My uncle had ordered this entrée and the chicken was pounded thin and had a great batter. The sauce was divine.
They also give you these mini garlic knots that were out of this world. They weren't overly filled with garlic or oily, and were the perfect bite-sized portion. Great (free) addition to your take-out meals. Highly recommend that when you get home, popping them in the oven for a few minutes to warm up again.
Overall would highly recommend ordering from Taste of Tuscany. Absolutely great take-out, just make sure you give yourself some time if there's a wait on a busy night! Food was...

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my FIRST and LAST experience at TASTE OF TUSCANY was so disappointing that I feel compelled to share.
First, we waited over 20 minutes just to get glasses on the table. When we were finally seated, our server took another 20 minutes to greet us and seemed irritated when we asked questions about the menu. No introduction of her name. No warm greeting.
After asking what type of pastas that were available and the server shrugging her shoulders as if we were supposed to know, food came out and it was honestly what saved the night. To add, the food was great. If they could just get the service fixed, it would essentially be their saving grace.
After dinner, we were not ONCE offered dessert or coffee. Just a placed check on the table. Completely inconsiderate of a table that legit just spent over $200 dollars at your establishment.
Also asked for coffee and was told at 8:55pm that the coffee machine was already shut down. HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE WHEN YOU STILL HAVE PEOPLE EATING IN YOUR ESTABLISHMENT? Did the servers just assume that no one wanted it? I mean, we weren't even offered dessert, so that makes perfect sense.
If I was the business owner, I would MOST CERTAINLY want to know this type of service is being displayed in my establishment.
Overall, this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in years. I was actually going to come back here for Father's Day if the experience was good. Now? No Way.
Please keep in mind. The best referral comes from WORD OF MOUTH.
*Sidenote: I also called to ask to speak to a manager and was asked "Can you call back in 45 minutes?" -- No question as to WHY i wanted to speak to management. How is there not a manager on...
Read moreWell, with 400 positive reviews, this will most assuredly get lost. However, i felt compelled to write one regardless. I googled restaurant’s near king Solomon cemetery in Clifton, NJ as we were having a luncheon after my dads unveiling and “Taste of Tuscany “ came up top rated. I dealt with “Dave” , who may have been the owner, but I’m not sure. Anyways, he guided me through the process for taking care of 25 people and it was a huge success. We did pizza and mozzarella stix as appetizers and each guest was given choices of 4 entrees, large family style salad and choice of pasta , veggies or fries along with choice of beverage as part of a lrice fix at 29.95 each.
Not only was the food good, but the planning, delivery, and execution was perfect . The serving people were patient and very agreeable to making us all feel welcome. They asked us at several points, if we wished for anything and were quick to bring whatever was asked for. Its very difficult to manage a large group. Dave and his staff did it quite well, prepared excellent food and Provided a bill exactly as discussed. You couldn’t have asked for anything more.
We were from out if town and had never been to the area, so this was a leap of faith that worked out splendidly.
Thank you to all the team at “Taste of Tuscany” for a...
