I called Clio computers today looking to purchase 2 CPU heat sinks and fans for a socket G34 motherboard. The Guy on the phone told me that there was no such thing as a socket g34 and that I didn't know what I was talking about cause he had never heard of it. Little did he know but I am a computer tech and had been in the IT field for over 16 years and retired at the age of 31 from the IT field. So I told him that the motherboard was an ASUS KGPE-D16 and it was socket G34. He began to yell at me asking me why did I call his store cause he don't carry stuff like that and why would he. I ask him why was he yelling at me for calling a parts store to get a part I explained to him that it isn't my fault he doesn't have it all he has to say is "I don't carry that part". He replied "Yes im mad your calling Clio for a part that I don't have". So my thoughts at this point is to make that make sense. IO Software in Flint said I don't carry it but we can look into it for you. So I said I need to get a power supply can I get one of those. I began to tell him what I wanted and he got mad again and said "DONT YOU GET IT!!! I DONT CARRY HI END STUFF!!! GO FIND ANOTHER STORE" And hung up in my face.
I would not send my worst enemy to a place like that and the owner of that store should train his employees on something called customer service. Its no wonder that they have such a bad reputation and other store in nearby cities take so much business from them. With service like that I have a good mind to come out of retirement and buy the building across the street next door to the coffee shop, do all computer repair for $19.95 and run them out of business. Maybe then they will learn how to treat customers. And also learn that you never know who you are talking too when you treat...
Read moreI recently purchased another used laptop from Clio Computers. This is my second used laptop from them. I bought the previous one 7 years ago. It is still a great machine and continues to provide flawless service after all those years. Not one thing went wrong with it, and it is still being used today. However, because the display has recently been experiencing some problems and support for Windows 7 is going away in January, I decided to "upgrade". Of course, Clio Computers was my first stop. I'm a retired software & systems analyst, and believe that, for the average person, buying a used computer from a reputable place like Clio Computers gives one the greatest value for the money. But, if you want a new machine, Clio Computers has them as well at very affordable prices. They thoroughly check out each machine, (new or used) repairing and upgrading the used ones where needed. I'm confident this new (to me) laptop will provide years of great service as did the previous one. If something does go wrong, then I'm just as confident Clio Computers will be able to solve the problem. I wouldn't hesitate to send anyone to Clio Computers for a new or...
Read moreI HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. let me start off by saying I just got into PC gaming and I had no idea what to talk about or what I needed, in terms of hardware. I called so many places and they all wanted to sell me the most expensive hardware. I called clio computers and asked if they built gaming PC'S and they said yes. They didn't start out by trying to sell me expensive stuff I didn't need. What they did was ask me what games I wanted to play and built a PC based off of the recommended specs of the games. They were and are very helpful and know what they are talking about. I'm very happy about the build. I own a small business and they will always get my business in the future for my office computers. Thank you so much for all your hard work clio computers. You guys are amazing. Oh one more thing, they have great pricing too on their computer supplies and builds please if anyone reading this is considering buying or building a custom system CALL THEM if you want a quality build at a very fair price. you will not be...
