The Cattle Car — Restaurant in Clover

I went with my family and we arrived at 11:30 am and we were told it was a 45 minute wait for a table. The dining area and tables were small, and it is not handicap accessible. If you easily get overstimulated this is not the atmosphere for you due to it being small and loud. When we were ordering, the staff we interacted with was not properly trained, for example when aaking questions "What is in your italian salad?" We were told "We don't know let me ask the manager." This happened multiple times when ordering food. When our food arrived, we were disappointed. The food was mediocre at best, and the salad vegetables were too small and hard to get with the cheap forks that bent. The wings were dry, overcooked, and did not have enough sauce. They could not tell me what flavor or what their different sauces were, I would suggest either a list of hot to mild or what the bases are. While we were eating, we noticed half the staff just standing around not doing anything. If you don't eat beef, expect a $4 dollar upcharge just for chicken, turkey, or a veggie patty. The restaurant is not easily accessible to handicapped people with the step to get in and the small design and table area which does not allow for the standard handicap...

This whole concept of the place is so great they had a line in each direction when we were entering... there was a small wait maybe 10-15 minutes because it was packed but our server I believe her name is Nevaeh was excellent (I wish she could get a dollar or two raise because she's an incredible server, consistently checking on us making sure everything was right and even if we had questions she was very patient with us and she she knows what she's doing and she has incredible customer service) our food was served to us within 10 minutes of us ordering it was delicious it was a very well organized experience I will be back I love their chicken I like the burger I don't do pork so I didn't have any bacon The chicken sandwich I had with the shredded chicken the bread was soft everything was right it needed a little more seasoning but outside of that it was actually perfect The sweet potato fries are delicious The drinks are just what the doctor ordered I mean it's it's nothing bad I can say about this place I recommend everyone go here and I don't care if you're in Charlotte or Atlanta this is a place to come visit clover has it going on right here at...

We had the buffalo chicken egg rolls. The wrapper was spot on crisp and flaky. The filling was a nice surprise. I can not wait to explore the rest of the menu. We went back for the grand opening and were not disappointed. We started off with the pretzels and pita chips with beer cheese and pimento cheese. Wow! The spiced pineapple old-fashioned and cosmic strawberry were on point. The smokehouse burger and burgers were perfect. The service was not lacking. The staff was very attentive. Even though it was packed, the food and drinks came out quicker than expected. If the line is long, I would recommend strolling down to "The Vault Bottle Shop" and try some great beers and wines while you wait.

Ok, back again for a snack and night cap. Bourbon/whiskey selection is the best I have found in the area. We had the Whistle Pig, Russell's reserve, and Woodford double oak and were not disappointed. We had the egg rolls again this time with the Chipotle ranch and would highly recommend it....
