This is the second time I’ve come to this Chase branch on a Saturday morning, around 9:30 a.m., and the same person who always greets customers in the main hall told us again that it would take at least 45 minutes wait to open a new account.
About three weeks ago, I came on another Saturday and was told the exact same thing 45-minute wait. I understood at that time, thinking maybe it was just a busy day, so I decided to come back another Saturday.
Today, I returned, and it was the same situation all over again — the same person, the same long wait. He also told me that it would be better to make an appointment so I wouldn’t have to wait, which honestly sounds ridiculous to me. We’re no longer in COVID times where appointments should be necessary just to open a bank account.
It’s disappointing that a bank like Chase doesn’t have enough staff to assist customers properly. Unfortunately, I ended up going to another bank nearby, where I was helped immediately — no wait at all — and the whole process of opening a new account took less than 20 minutes. Chase lost a new...

We got the credit card but the debit card never showed up. When I called to get some help, they tried to help but couldn't because of bank rules. So I was upset because we needed the card urgently and a severe illness kept us from getting back to the bank. When I talked to the woman who set us up there, she made it all my problem. She told me if I was a Chase private level client, then she could help....but since I wasn't too bad. Read moreI recently moved back to my hometown and tried to close my account and withdrawal my remaining funds with this bank and they made it one of the most frustrating experiences I’ve ever had with any bank. First they sent my money to a four year old address and said it was my fault for not double checking with my customer service rep. Following that I tried calling and was hung up on multiple times. Once I got someone on the line I was met with attitude and more personal blaming.
