The people working there are cool but the management is terrible. They're biased and dont really care about what you go through getting there. Some can be nice though however I Had a friend who walk long to get there but they put him on dining room all the time. There was one who would ask only guys to do certain things since she biased the girls and didnt want them to do things. They put minors to work on the frying positions to handle food and wash dishes with knives. They also had minors cleaning up grease and closing down the kitchen with all the machines. They also keep their out in those cases. The guy who owns york road is the same guy who now owns this locations chick fil a. Hes an alright dude but before owning another cfa should be able to handle atleast his first one. From what I've heard from the workers at the York road location I would not want to eat there. From people not putting on gloves and picking their nose to more. The workers their appearntly are all also "in touch" with eachother. Depending on the location it seems as if if you are not white then what the point. Also something that you will get to know at cfa is that a lot of people are really putting on a fake smile it may seen genuine but it most likely isnt. Not everyone is like this there are some genuine people but dont be happy just because they give you a free meal. Drive thru is good and fast but the workers who are standing there taking your orders could be out their for hours no matter how the weather conditions are like. They initially say they will have you our for 30 minutes but 2 hours may go by and you're still out in below freezing temps or over 100° weather. One person even fainted for being out there for too long and all they did was send her back out after a while and just put a water jug outside for about 2 weeks. I worked their for over 2 and a half years so I saw a lot of changes happen. Everyone knows the food here is good but I guess here is...
Read moreI went to chic fil a yesterday 4/25/19 at 5:05pm. I ordered a chicken number one a chicken sandwhich meal. My friend ordered chicken nuggets. I'm used to the people who work at chic fil a providing awesome customer service but that did not happen yesterday. The cashier who rang my friend up didn't say "hello" "welcome to chick fil a" or even "How may i help you" that was strike one. My cashier did however did greet me. There were approx 4 African Americans in the line at chic fil a including my friend and I. everyone ordered their food a 10 minutes later my friend and i still didn't have our food. I was so confused as how everyone who came in after and order after me received their food. Then finally my friend got her food we order for take out they bring her food out as eat in. No big deal they fixed it and put her food in a bag. She literally gets 7 fries at the most. She waited 10 minutes and received barely any fries and no apology. After 15m I approached the worker and asked were my food was. She goes and brings another customer their food and tells me mine is being prepared. 17m later i received my sandwich. I was so confused as to why i received my food last when i came their before half of their customers. basically im saying train your employees at this location not to be racist! There was no reason why it took so long for me to get my food. There was no reason why i should watch as the non black people get their food fast and hot. I was so frustrated after i left yesterday. I couldn't believe this. There was a young African american door dash worker. She repeatedly asked where her order for pick up was, and she waited at least 15m. This is not acceptable...
Read moreNice quiet place for dinner or lunch. It has a comfortable, welcoming feel. It's on the verge of a light lounge though the dining room isn't large enough to support entertainment.
*The staff were friendly, helpful, accommodating, and not overly attentive in a good way. *The menu offers sound appetizer & entree choices no matter your preference. If you're a vegetarian, you won't be limited to salad or have to make something work.
I ordered crabby cakes, bang bang shrimp, and bread pudding. *The "bread pudding" was more like hot pumpkin bread with caramel sauce. I was a little disappointed that it wasn't traditional bread pudding ~ it was all right, even though I don't care for pumpkin. *The crabby cake w/fried green tomatoes was all right. ~ a "single" order it was more crab meat than filler. Good, however not worth the price tag - there should have been two or a much larger serving at the price. Not sure if it was my taste buds but I don't think the sauce added anything extra to the entree. The tomatoes were prepared well however I couldn't really taste the tomatoes flavor, the slices should have been a little thicker. *The bang bang shrimp was good but made with a lot of breading which I don't like.
My overall experience ~ felt a little like a "chain" instead of a fine dining lunch experience which is what I was hoping for. The price points didn't commiserate with my overall experience. It's quaint enough for an intimate dinner with friends or a small...
