Ledo Pizza Hunt Valley, MD — Restaurant in Maryland

I had heard about Ledo Pizza for many many years and was always curious about them but never went. This past Saturday night was my chance to go and I can honestly say that I won't be back.

First impression: dingy. This restaurant needs a face lift ASAP. Paint the walls, hang some pictures, etc. It needs to be livened up a bit. That was the first turn off. The restrooms were not very clean and the female members of our party had to go into the men's room to get hand soap. Simple things like this shows that there is bad management.

The waitress was obviously not into her job at all. The whole process of taking our orders was very disjointed and clumsy. Nothing flowed smoothly as it should. Again, I blame the management for the obvious poor training.

The food. The people in the party that did not get pizza were happy with their meal. I wanted to try this pizza that "doesn't cut corners" so I, along with several others in our party, opted for pizza. I was underwhelmed to say the least. It was messy, VERY greasy and I would rank it in the bottom tier of pizza I have had in my life.....and I love pizza. The presentation wasn't good either as it was brought out sitting directly on cafeteria trays. Maybe that is their norm but I did not care for that. Maybe a wooden tray or something a little more eye appealing than a left over from the high school cafeteria would have been better. The taste was ok at best. There are frozen pizzas at the grocery store that I would rank higher. It was better than Pie 5 (you can check out the review I did on that garbage) so that is a plus Ledo Pizza.

This is one location and I am sure they can't all be this bad. Maybe, in time, I would consider trying another location if the...

This is my third time in two months and each experience has bern worse.

1st time - ordered soup, salad and breadsticks ( AUCE ) They had two different types of soup, when they asked if I wanted to have seconds, I asked for the other soup. They told me they couldn't do that and I could only re-order soup I had ordered first. Other Ledo's have let me order different soup next time around.

2 nd time - ordered same as above. When waitress brought bill, I was charged for items separately and which came to $2 more than if you order the AUCE soup, salad, breadsticks. It was corrected but took 10 minutes.

3rd time - Walked in a half hour before closing and was told dining room was closed. Was going to order same meal again.

You have now lost my business. Will go elsewhere from now on when...

Went on Father's Day 2019. Bathroom was overflowing so had to use the grocery store's in the same shopping center. We were never greeted so went to the counter to place an order. She said someone would be by soon to take our order and waited another 5 min. We ordered two subs, a side salad and a pizza. The two subs and a salad came out quickly and were great. But the pizza took an hour longer than the subs/salad, so my dad didn't get to eat at the same time we did. No one checked on us. I complained at the counter and the manager said he'd take the pizza off. Instead, he only took off 10%. I complained again and got the pizza taken off, but suffice it to say we won't be going back for some time.
