Butler Gallery — Attraction in Cockeysville

A HUGE "Thank You" to Patti, Valerie and the rest at Butler Gallery who had a part in helping put together the art work for our new office. Valerie welcomed me on my initial "exploratory" visit. She pointed out the different things they had to offer, as well as made sure I had the pertinent websites to do more research later. She told me that Patti would be in the next day and able to help further. I was also impressed that she made sure to get my telephone number before I left. When contacting Patti, she was a delight. Cheerful, a master of her craft, and willing to help in any way. We picked out our main focal point print from her and she had two of our prints matted and framed to match. She, personally, came to our office and hung the artwork in plenty of time to meet out deadline for our Open House. The final result is exactly as we had envisioned.

Dropped in my favorite store in the world to inquire about framing 2 pictures. Said more than once I live far away and happened to be in the area - so did not have my pictures with me. Just wanted to look at frames to get ideas. WOW - at least five times the very nasty owner said she really needed the pictures to help. At least 5 times I explained that I did not have them with me.....well, long story short - she just lost a great job and managed to kill any joy I had when I went in. Can't make this up. Even told her the style I was looking for, (British Colonial) and perhaps I could look at frames - once again a lecture - that style means many things, blah, blah, blah - but, alas, I knew what I was looking for! I also know that a pleasant face and "thank you for stopping in - especially since you live far away and mentioned this was your favorite store..." goes a long way. Good luck to you and sorry that darling artist you partner with has to put up with your nasty...

I have bought great gifts from this store for many years. In addition, they have done a bunch of custom framing for me- older photos and also nice prints. They do exceptional work. I always purchase some of their jewelry for Xmas gifts-...
