Mixed reviews.....We had a great salesperson named Corbin help me find boots, but when we went to look at hats he didn't have much experience with hats and was struggling to help me. There were two other staff standing there at the hat counter (a younger girl around 20 and a man with a beard around 40). The girl when asked to help told Corbin in a super snotty way that he was so confusing that even she couldn't help me now and the other guy when I asked if my hat looked big with regard to the brim just coldly said "they all look big" and walked away. They were not helpful at all and treated us like second class citizens (and treated Corbin that way as well). Yes we are tourists and not cowboys, so maybe that was their problem 🤷♀️ but regardless, we came to spend money and I walked out with only boots because that was all I was helped with. Thanks Corbin, you were very helpful, and informative with regard to the boots and super polite. You were the only person that even acknowledged us, let alone approached us by the time we had gotten to the back of the store. Brush up on your hat skills and you will be great! As for the other 2? Learn some customer relations skills. I wish I knew their names because they deserve to be named for their...
Read moreI ordered a pair of Pants that were over $100 because they didn't have my size. This was a rare birthday splurge I have very few clothes anyway. The sales girl wanted the same pants, and said Oh, if I'd known I'd have ordered those for me! When the pants came in, I was on my way through driving another state away. She had them in the bag and I trusted they were the right ones. I found out the next day she'd put the ones they had in the store already, in my bag. The other salesgirl confided that the other girl had taken the pants for herself when they came in. I wasn't anywhere near a Boot Barn for months. I'm stuck with a pair of pants I can't wear. She knew I was traveling and wouldn't be able to come back to the store. When I confronted her over the phone she said it was my fault for not figuring it out before I...
Read moreMy first pair of boots and I was nervous! Since hitting 50 all the damage I did to my feet when I was young has caught up to me. I have brittle bones, and been seeing an ortho due to heel pain. Olivia at the Boot Barn in Cody, Wyoming, was absolutely phenomenal! She was so personable. She listened to my concerns about comfort, and needing something with traction. She took her time, explained the different boot companies, fits, sizes, and colors. I could not be more pleased with my experience here and my first pair of boots! I wore them out of the store and walked around in them for hours and they didn't hurt! Thank you Olivia for making my first experience buying boots a great one!!! My family and I...
