To be honest this place was utterly disappointing. We spent $44 on three and a half sandwiches and had to go back to it twice to get our order complete. The menu board was not very well laid out and had the precomposed sandwiches on the bottom so they were hard to see but once we finally placed our order we pulled up to the window. We had asked them to cut the sandwiches into four parts because we have two little kids and they hardly eat anything. We also asked for sauces to be put on the side since we were going to take the sandwiches into the park and didn't want them to be soggy. We paid our bill and took the bag of sandwiches that they handed us and began to drive. Our youngest said she would like a sandwich so I reached in only to discover that they were not cut into four pieces but merely cut into half. So we turned around and went back to the drive-in window to ask them if we could please have a plastic knife to cut the sandwich they gave us a plastic knife. We asked if they had plates and they said they didn't. As we're pulling out I gave my daughter the sandwich and she said it wasn't very good because it was dry. So I looked in the bag for the sauces only to discover that there wasn't any mayonnaise or mustard in the bag. We then returned to the window for the third time and asked about the sauces. The woman who I assume was either the manager or owner got very defensive and said that it was our fault because we requested for the sandwiches to have the sauces on the side since we were taking them into the park. It is true we did ask for them on the side but it would be very hard for us to put them on the sandwiches once we get to the park if they haven't ever been given to us in the first place. She then asked her employee if he put in sauces and he said yeah they're in a bag on the counter. She proceeded to pass us the bag that had been missing from our order and continued to hold her position that we were being unreasonable. To be perfectly honest I regret having ever attempted to order from them. We would have been better off to buy sandwich meat, bread, and cheese from the grocery store and make it ourselves because there was nothing unique about their product and the hassle was ridiculous. So NO I most definitely do not recommend...
Read moreMy husband and I just bought a home in Cody last fall and The Breadboard soon became a favorite place to eat. However, slowly the quality has deteriorated over the past several months. Recently, we bought a couple sandwiches and headed up to Yellowstone for the day. I was completely disappointed in the Box Car sandwich I chose. It barely had any meat and there was a glob of mayonnaise all in one spot. I ordered avocado and paid extra for it but there was only very small two pieces of avocado on the entire sandwich. I’m sure that this quality is out of the ordinary. I write this to help the business maintain the high standard and good quality that we know as the norm. I believe that information is powerful and I hope this helps your business thrive...
Read moreThis was my first time going to the bread Board and I gotta say I am disappointed. Maybe my sandwich standards are too high but the bread board offers subpar sandwiches.
I got a chicken salad sandwich with everything on it- the chicken salad was super bland, the toppings basic- cheese, lettuce, tomato and mustard. The only saving grace for this sandwich was the bread. I also got a side of the beer cheese soup which tasted sweet! It was so sweet I couldn’t eat it. Maybe I just ordered the two worst things on the menu? I will try it again and update my review. I am a fan of local businesses and the drive thru...
