Update: 6/21/2024- Pat reached out to me and talked to me about my experience. He was very helpful and offered to refund those two fees as a goodwill for me having that type of experience. I am updating my review to a 4 star because it shows the company does really care about the customers experience and this was likely not the standard that store usually operates. I recently visited this store and my experience was far from satisfactory. Upon purchasing my new phone, I was charged an additional $29.99 setup fee that was never mentioned upfront. This felt like a sneaky way to squeeze extra money out of customers. I was told that is how the employees are paid because they are spending time helping me. I transferred my own data they just sold me the phone.
The screen protector I bought for $39 was supposed to offer protection, but it turned out to be a total waste of money. Within just 24 hours of normal use, the protector shattered in my pocket because my keys were also there. This is utterly unacceptable for a product supposedly designed to withstand daily wear and tear. I was offered to pay an additional 10 dollars for a new one. I can understand that if I had the protector more even a week, but 24 hours is laughable.
Overall, this experience will just prevent me from going back and hopefully will serve as a warning to others to be aware if you’re upgrading through them you’re going to pay the $35 dollar upgrade fee by Verizon plus $29.99 to pay for thee employee’s time...

I was so frustrated and worried I was somehow going to have to spend money one way or another to solve it. Michaela, Jill & Mike were AWESOME! They genuinely wanted to help resolve the issue and spent a good few hours advocating for me with Verizon support. Ultimately the problem was entirely resolved and not a penny was spent. My iPhone 13 now is in perfect working order and I am so relieved and grateful to not have to deal with the inconvenience any longer.
