!!WARNING!!! Save your money!
We get here and the guy taking our order was very friendly and seemed genuinely happy. I would be that happy too if I could get away with selling canned/boxed food for such an outrageous mark-up. The difference is I would feel so bad about myself that I wouldn't be able to wake up the next day and do it again.
We ordered three separate dishes. First were the "Super Nachos", which were cheap bagged chips with VERY little cheap CANNED nacho cheese. There was just a thin layer of chips and canned garbage on top of it for $11!! Sour cream or salsa is $1.25 extra!!
We also got a regular burrito with shredded beef. It was $11 and was full of mushy boxed Mexican rice and canned refried beans with maybe 2oz of meat and a sprinkle of lettuce. It was all VERY bland. Walmart burritos are 5star by comparison.
The third dish we got was the cheese enchiladas for $13. Baked fresh and cheesy? Not a chance!! Seemed to be just rolled up cheese and tortillas, microwaved with sauce and put on a plate with their awful excuse for beans and rice. Disrespectful!!
I eat Mexican food everywhere and every chance I can. We travel often. This is closer to a garbage truck than a food truck. The owners should be run out of town. There needs to be a negative star option. One star is FAR FAR FAR too good for this place. God bless those who have to endure this awful, overpriced, backwoods high-school cafeteria, end of the world nightmarish disgrace of a Mexican canned...
Read moreWe grabbed dinner here last week while passing through town and staying in the RV park next door. Who knew we’d find such a friendly taco truck with such delicious food in Cody, WY?!?! I’m from So. Cal and I set the bar pretty high where Mexican food is concerned. This place did not disappoint. We ordered a carne asada quesadilla and it was so good! The steak was tender and well-seasoned and it had plenty of cheese inside. We also ordered enchiladas and they were some of the best I’ve ever had. They were the star of the show, in my opinion. The sauce reminded me of the one my grandma made in her kitchen years ago. There was also plenty of yummy melty cheese in every bite. The food was so fresh and the portions were very generous as well. Add in the friendly, hospitable service and you have a winner here! We’ll definitely stop in again if/when we get...
Read moreWorst burrito I’ve had in the 44 years I’ve been alive! I’m used to leaving a taco wagon satisfied but nope not this one! I got a wet soggy miniature burrito that was 13.00 The four of us spent 70.00 and then asked ol’ Ruben for some hot sauce and he had the audacity to charge 1.50 for some store bought watered down tapitio so I told him he can just keep it, I feel bad for the people in Cody if they think that’s good authentic Mexican food, because some how that dive had a 4.6 Star rating? I’ve had better food in county jail! Maybe someone from Oregon or Washington will move in to Cody and give him an education on quality, quantity, and customer service! Maybe Rosa is the breadwinner and knows how to cook and take care of hungry hunters but we missed her on Monday and got stuck with a tortilla full of...
