Meijer — Local services in Cold Spring

I have never shopped here, I was only here to pick up a DoorDash order. I must say, I am appalled at the lack of customer service. I have been in the service industry all my Working life and you know when somebody’s looking for help. They look you in the eye and Wait for you to ask if they need anything. Even if I’m on the phone or if I’m in the middle of a conversation, I will let them know I will be with you in a minute. Anything! Three Workers looked at me and went back to what they were doing, three! I finally interrupted the last two because they were having a conversation and asked if I could have help in the floral department And I also let her know that I have been waiting to get help for a while. She just seemed annoyed with me and said “ Well, we’re all scattered around working” And if that wasn’t bad enough, I went to the floral department just to wait there for a slow man Taking his time not a care in the world for the time I’ve already wasted. Finally was able to ask about a certain bunch of flowers I was supposed to pick up and his only response was “well… Everything we have is out here” Like wow, thanks for your help. He did not offer to look Or anything, even when I showed him a picture of what I was looking for. I will never be back. And I for sure will never shop there For myself. And as a sidenote, their flower section was pathetic. Every bunch had brown spots and dried out petals. I felt sorry for my customer I even Warned them before hand that the flowers were not good looking but that I picked the best out of...

I come here pretty often, and I have to say that this specific store has to have the worst organization out of all of the Meijers I've seen. There are tampons right across from the milk. The health/beauty area is ok...except my first trip it took me about 15 minutes to figure out where the toothpaste is. Because, of course it's in the office supply aisle, silly me. I've finally gotten most of it down. Like they have dog treats and toys next to the plants and more dog treats and dog food in another aisle across the store in a regular grocery aisle. It doesn't make any sense they need new merchandisers. Other than that they usually have great deals...if the sale items are stocked. Annnd I wish they had good produce. Employees are nice (at least the ones who work...

I loved it, obviously noticed on the road outside, easy to find, and easy on the eye as well! A fuel pump station outside, pharmacy, and the big store. Spacious big and all sorts of departments. Grocery very nice and bakery also nice cakes and pies like apple, pumpkin, sweet potato. Clothes, not very elegant or chic but good enough for work or college, many times they have discounts and offers. Trustworthy staff, helpful and also got scan yourself check out cashiers, supervised by decent clerics. I remember the first time I visited that place when it was just a new one just opened, maybe 20years ago and I was one of the first to buy from there. Some incident happened made me think well of American people and their straight forward way of living and easy...
