White Castle — Restaurant in Cold Spring

Got a call from the farm to bring a couple of crave cases because friends had stopped by. Went to go inside because the drive thru was backed up, so I decided to go in and there was a sign on the door stating the dining room was closed because they were understaffed. I would like to know if the management was there or aware of this situation. This was early evening, was wanting some onion petals and fries and my crave case's . I know I couldn't stop somewhere else and take home 48 burgers and onion petals and fries, so I took home some cheese and lunchmeat, needless to say the festive Christmas spirit didn't last long. This was because of being understaffed at the Cold Spring, Ky location. I don't understand how this could happen knowing people would be out shopping and wanting a quick bite. No one wants to sit in a restaurant with their 3 children while the staff is throwing food at one another behind the counter and trying to pour cheese on each other. Last night was ridiculous and we won't be back to this location. Throwing food around is unsanitary. We had to rush to eat and the kids ended up having to take their food to the car so they could eat in peace. We couldn't even hear each other over the loudness of the crew horsing around throughout attempting to eat inside of the establishment. I definitely don't want to eat anywhere that food is being thrown around, attempting to put cheese on one another and eating behind the counter! There was no ice. No one said anything till we got to the window. It's 9 am I ordered three sausage breakfast sliders they asked if I wanted the egg and cheese. I was a little confused but said yes. I get home there is only cheese. If you didn't have eggs just say so if you don't have ice just say so when I am ordering. Don't charge me for things I'm not even getting. Honestly this location has been on a downhill trend for a while this is just the last straw for me.

Update: service here hasn't gotten any better as of 1/18/25 just got home food is Luke warm. Either was made hours ago and served to me at 7 pm or were thrown in A microwave and passed out the window. For the prices and portions thet should be able to make this when ordered. Honestly just not worth trying to...
