Cafė 53 — Restaurant in Colfax Township

Started out as a good quality restaurant... Unfortunately, the atmosphere and quality have declined. I worked at a local business and once desperately needed to use a bathroom, which a grouchy employee saw. At the time, I was a kind of regular customer. After visiting to use the bathroom, they then put up large signs on all of the doors, stating, "bathrooms are for customers only. "... Okay then... Then the service and quality sharply declined... I assume they began to recognize the name we'd call in for an order. I'd be greeted by a grouchy employee who acted like they hate their job and hate everyone that orders there.. But with my final order here, I realized it was probably just me... I was in line paying for my order with said grouchy employee, then someone else got in line behind me, and then with the next customer, the employee had a complete 360 in attribute.. We began to suspect our recognized order name was leading to intentional decline in quality of food... have not...

Visited Cafe 53 for lunch. Wanted to like this restaurant. Ordered breakfast - but breakfast service closes at 10:30 am. Ordered the chicken wrap club and the chicken buffalo ranch wrap. We assumed the wrap would include a grilled or fried chicken tender. No. It was GRILLED SLICED CHICKEN LUNCH MEAT! (!?!?) The sandwiches were small and COLD and the French FRIES were COLD, mushy and rubbery. Nothing crisp fried to them at all. The buffalo ranch wrap had no snap. Three cooks in the kitchen were unable to create a HOT meal. Disappointing. Barely edible. Left most of it on the plate. Service was distracted.

Won’t ever be back.

Suggestion - If your wraps are grilled LUNCH MEAT - please describe as such in the menu.

Suggest serving breakfast all day. HOT breakfast.

Another disappointing Bad Axe restaurant that is unable to deliver...

Sadly I have to change the rating of this place. I had a couple bad experiences with this place recently. I looked the other way when my service was lousy recently. Then the corned beef hash breakfast started coming to the table with just a sniff of corned beef. Along with the hit and miss service. Today Dawn was my server. Never even asked if I wanted a water. Never checked on me. Could not believe it. Zero corned beef in the corned beef breakfast . Maybe a whiff like I said. Dawn has zero skills as a server and should...
