Yama's Hair Braiding — Local services in College Park

These were my braid after a week. Braids have been falling out of my head everywhere. I asked 10x was my hair too short to braid because I didn't want my braids sliding out. Aside from all the braids that fell out. The braids look old as hell. Oh & the older lady is very rude & the younger ladies talk bad about clients in their language. Also there's a teenage girl that they're training & she have no clue what she doing so keep her out your head. They don't accept cards either. The owner of the shop is very rude and disrespectful and she’s always trying to over charge for braids that aren’t as neat as they should be for the prices she charge. Before I go get my hair braided I always send her a picture of the style I want for a price quote and every time I get to the shop she tries to over charge me. When I tried to tell her that that’s not what she said over the phone she became very rude and even tried to argue with me. This is not the first time that she has tried to over charge me for some braids and I will not be returning to this shop again. After reading the reviews I was very leary about going. I looked for other shops that were 24hrs or open late but they all pretty much had the same types of reviews. I am always pressed for time and I needed something that would take me after 8pm on a Saturday. I decided to take a chance. I'm so happy I did. At 8 she called to make sure I was coming and told me she would wait on me. I sat in the chair as soon as I got there. They started on my hair at 8:35pm and they were done at exactly 12:00am.
