I made a purchase of $11.84 for 1 Philly Cheese steak and 5 Lemon pepper wings n added fries for $1 more on 5/30/2017 around 9:40 pm right before closing at 10pm The wings and fries were ok no complaints there. However, the Philly Cheese my husband and I ordered was very salty. It was too salty to even consume. So because they were closed once I got home, to eat, I called the next day around lunchtime and the manager was not available a young lady stated to me. I called again around 2pm and left my phone number for the manager to give me a call, but never heard back from the manager. Once I got off work around 4:30 pm I called again and I spoke with the manager Mr. Lin. I explain to him the situation of my purchase that the wings and the fries were no problem, but the Philly cheesesteak was too salty for my husband and I to eat. He didn't seem to care at all, and basically told me, there's nothing he can do. He would not give me another sandwich or refund money for the sandwich cost. He was very rude to me. I told him I thought that was very inconsiderate to his customer who has spent their money and did not get good service. He told me there's nothing he can do about it I should have kept the food and brought it back the next day. I threw the food away that night and my trash was picked up 5:30 am that morning. How would I have known to keep the sandwich and take it to work with me all day, I guess and then bring it to them that afternoon it makes no sense to me. He first asked me why am I just now calling him which I explained to him I've called him twice and left my number, n that I have a job I had to be at work from 8am to 4:30 pm., and that I'm calling him as I'm getting off work for the third time today and finally reaching him. He still after explaining, was very rude to me and wasn't understanding at all. I told him that I would go online and stress my concerns for future customers he basically said he doesn't care. So I just want you guys to know that if you deal with this American Deli on Old Nat by Walmart, and your food is not proper there's a chance you may not get a refund or you may not get a replacement n the manager has no respect for your time or money or our community as a whole. So for me, it's my 5th time visiting this establishment , but this time I am am going back. Mr. Lin's rudeness and lack of concern for his customers complaint or loss is an example of how we are perceived as consumers in the black neighborhood. I ask you all to boycott this American Selling and demand this establishment respect it's customers time and hard earned...

The young lady with braids at the cash register had a very stank attitude as if she did not want to be working. I ignored it and decided not to tip even though I usually do. Once home I found a live bug crawling inside my salad. I nearly threw up and threw the salad away. We’ve been coming here since this location first opened and I’m sure have spent thousands here. I will not be returning after the service and finding a bug inside my food. Management needs to hire workers who actually have customer service skills and get pest control...

The young "African American" ladies that work the register are rude and have no clue about the importance of good customer service nor do they care how they are being used to draw in business and speak the lingo!
Even worse the owners just care about the money because they're not Americans in the first place. Go figure🤔
