ALDI — Local services in Collinsville

Idk what happened to this Aldi but I'm so disappointed. I've been shopping here for years now, typically through online ordering and pickup at the store. We have never had an issue EVER until the past few months. Now we get smashed bread, broken eggs, etc. I could overlook a few issues because I get it, things happen but the worst part is that the aldi shoppers are also so rude now. Communication through the app has gotten awful and mean, and ftr N is incredibly condescending and nasty. She even tried to keep our quarter one time out of spite because we didn't know grocery pickup was over at 7pm :( that isn't listed anywhere so idk how we would have known. But trust me, don't cross her or she'll getcha.

I'm not sure if management here changed or wages weren't raised on time, but I guess I'll have to shop somewhere else where people aren't so rude to otherwise friendly people just...

Love Aldi's!! Frozen wild caught salmon around 4-5 pieces for $3.99 and large cans of flaked wild caught salmon for around $1.65. Every time I went I asked for more organics - this was when they only had a couple items. Now they have much more organics and healthy options to chose from for great to good price points. Their other merchandise is great too!! So many high priced items, Aldi found other companies to make the same thing, and sometimes even better than the competition and at great price points too!! I haven't tried all of them, but the pieces I did get ( a multi tiered dehydrator and a newwave cooker that was better because the one Aldi sold was glass!) I have been so happy with! I hope this helps! When you go, bring a quarter for the cart and your own bags....

I had a horrible pickup experience. I’m currently in a boot and cannot shop for my groceries, so I ordered online through insta cart. The lady that brought the order out (who appeared to work for Aldi) went straight to the trunk and yelled for me to open the trunk. I politely asked if I could have them in the backseat. She threw my door open, aggressively loaded the bags in, and slammed my door. Then, she stormed away and I said “thank you, have a good day” and she couldn’t bother to even turn around or even at the least acknowledge me. Additionally I was given a bad avocado and had tomatoes all over the bottom of one of my bags. I’d hate for this to happen to someone else who cannot shop for their groceries.
