I will never shop here again. I came here a few days to use my $10 reward. When I tried to pay using my kohls card, it was declined. That's fine, I'll just make a payment. I told the cashier I would like to pay for my items using part cash and the rest on my personal credit card, then make a payment. I gave her $22 cash and around $4 went on my own credit card. Then, for whatever reason, voids my entire transaction out (apparently because my Kohls charge was declined and she thought I couldn't pay any other way). So she rang up my purchases again, scans $10 reward again, puts in the system that I paid $22 cash, and charges my personal credit card AGAIN. She (and the manager) assured me that my credit card would only be charged once. She was wrong, my card was charged twice (I realized it the next day when it was posted to my account). For her own mistake. Not to mention, she had an awful attitude toward me the entire time. I was kind, and kept apologizing for the confusion, even though it wasn't my fault. At this point, I was done. I took my purchases to the Fairview Heights location and got a refund. But my card was still double charged and they told me it's basically not their problem. Anywhere from 15 to 30 % off on top of the regular sales. To get an account...it's free to sign up and get their charge card. And on top of that you earn points for future purchases. I notice that Bed Bath and Beyond want you to pay them for a membership. To get their discounts. Say what?? Save your money. You can get it from Kohl's, that's what I say. Look everything is going up in price, gas, food, electric bills, rent so go where you can get a deal. Top quality products on sale with added discounts and earn points on each purchase. They have clothes, shoes, sleepwear, cookware, cosmetics, jewelry, hats, socks, etc. Everything you need. Well they don't sell tires but pretty much what you need for your home. Sooo,...
Read moreThis location always has the feel that it's going out of business. The selection is so limited compared with other area locations, and they always seem to have very few size options on what they have left in stock. I tried this location and the Edwardsville location today. Edwardsville was packed and calling for more cashiers, and Collinsville had two registers open, with no line to check out. Edwardsville had more sizes, colors, and more things to choose from than Collinsville did.
With that being said, the cashier at the Collinsville Kohl's was extremely helpful. I was trying to get the 20% discount advertised for educators this weekend, but she helped me find the 30% discount I was eligible for as a Kohl's charge cardholder. 30% 20%, so...
