280 Metro is almost a waste of space. There is only ONE store I go into and that's because it's the closest place to my neighborhood that sells the products I need without a day trip into the City.
⭐⭐👍🏼👍🏼The new Bed, Bath and Beyond now carries these products⭐⭐⭐👍🏼👍🏼
Occasionally I'll shop at the Marshalls if I remember and I'm not in a hurry. They have great deals on name brand purses, bags, shoes and the occasional "find".
I like purchasing an array of clothing from Old Navy for work because the material is pretty much 90% cotton at a very reasonable price. AND we ALWAYS get our 4th of July tanks and tee's!
I don't really shop at Old Navy anymore because they forgot to remove a sensor from an item I received as a birthday gift.
🌟🌟⭐(Purchased by an elderly lady that actually took an entire day to go out, shop & purchase this item. Unfortunately she couldn't remember what she did with the gift receipt)⭐⭐🌟 I thought I would just bring it in and they would remove it...... 😬😠😡🤬 BOY WAS I WRONG 🤬😡😠😬
So, I walked on over to Old Navy, and as I entered the store the alarm went off and I was met immediately by a regional manager that just happened to be at the store. I explained the situation, they watched me walk right in with the blouse AND literally refused to remove the sensor. So I ended up tossing out a brand new top. I get it, shop lifters and what not, BUT NOT ONE MANAGER WATCHED ME WALK IN, BUT THERE WERE 2 STANDING THERE, RIGHT AT THE DOOR.....SMDH
Other than that 95% of the shops are garbage. Not to mention a HORRIBLE INCIDENT THAT HAPPENED TO ME IN THE PARKING LOT OF ONE OF THE BUSINESSES I USED TO FREQUENT. AN INDIVIDUAL WHO IS AN IGNORANT, NARROW MINDED, UNPROFESSIONAL EMPLOYEE, MADE AN ASSUMPTION, AN ACCUSATION, BASED ON RACIAL PROFILE, EVEN INVOLVING THE POLICE.......ON AN ASSUMPTION. NO PROOF, NO CONFIRMATION, JUST A HUNCH......THAT LED TO THE MOST HUMILIATING MOMENT THAT LEFT ME ABSOLUTELY MORTIFIED, HUMILIATED AND FEELING EXTREMELY VIOLATED. BECAUSE THIS IGNORANT, NARROW MINDED INDIVIDUAL MADE AN EXTREMELY DETRIMENTAL ACCUSATION WITHOUT ANY POSITIVE CONFIRMATION, PROOF OR EVEN A WITNESS. AS A WELL RESPECTED INDIVIDUAL OF THE COMMUNITY; I WILL MAKE SURE THE PEOPLE IN THE COMMUNITY DO NO SPEND ONE SINGLE HARD EARNED DIME LET ALONE A DOLLAR AT THAT ESTABLISHMENT EVER AGAIN. WE NOW SUPPORT AN EXTREMELY HONEST AND LOYAL LOCAL BUSINESS WOMAN THAT ACTUALLY VALUES HER CLIENTELE. THAT IS HOW A BUSINESS BECOMES SUCCESSFUL!!!! 🦄🦄A WASTE OF...
Read moreI cannot say enough good things about Windy at Ulta- Hair Salon. From the moment my daughter and I walked in, I felt completely welcomed and at ease. This was my daughter 1st professional haircut (I’ve always trimmed it myself out of fear), however my cousin recommended Windy, as she just recently got her 9 y/o daughter’s haircut. Windy took the time to listen to exactly what my daughter wanted and even gave expert advice on what would work best for her hair type and face shape.
The result? Absolute perfection! My daughter’s cut turned out even better than we imagined. The precision, the attention to detail, and the care that went into every step were truly impressive. Her hair has never looked or felt this good!
Beyond Windy’s incredible talent, she was also a joy to chat with—friendly, professional, and passionate about her work, and made my daughter feel very safe and heard! The salon itself was clean, stylish, and had such a relaxing atmosphere. My daughter already loved shopping at Ulta, and now she has found her own hair stylist there!
If you’re looking for a hairstylist who will make you look and feel amazing, do yourself a favor and book an appointment with Windy Kwong at Ulta - Hair Salon in Colma, CA (280 Metro Center) ASAP. You won’t regret...
Read moreMetro Center in Colma, CA has been competing with Serramonte Shopping Center for years. This year, there were a few changes: new Ross, SweetHoney Dessert, & Tuesday Morning. A new Ross showed up, which was strange because now there are THREE Ross stores within ten minutes driving distance of each other. A new Hong Kong dessert place opened up, which attracted more Asian customers. And a new retailer called Tuesday Morning opened its doors, which is eerily similar to TJ Maxx or Marshall's. However, Nordstrom Rack moved from Metro Center to Serramonte Shopping Center and I think that's why the parking lot is emptier than usual.
Aside from the competition, there are thriving businesses such as Office Depot, Ulta, David's Bridal, Best Buy, Honey Baked Ham, Manila Eatery, Men's Warehouse, Bath and Body Works, Burger King, FedEx Office, GNC, Home Depot, JoAnn Fabrics, LensCrafters, Old Navy, Marshall's, SAS Shoes, Shoe Depot, Vitamine Shoppe, and...
