Years of trust Shattered! I've been a loyal customer for over 10 years, always supported local, and dropped serious money on every Yu-Gi-Oh booster box release. Then I switched to One Piece, and kept spending. I used to pay $100 a box, then $120, now $125. But now Van doesn’t even sell by the booster box and sells $8 per pack for OP09 and claims he “only sells by the packs.” Not just one piece but also pokemon as well. Yet someone magically walks out with a full case of Destined Rivals? Yeah, sounds fair look at the other review for proof. Clearly, if you're one of his favorites, you get what you want. This isn’t about supporting the community anymore and it never was. He is all about squeezing every dollar possible and hooking up his fav people with good products. Dont feed into Van's greed. Acts like he is doing you a favor by selling what you want.

Van also promised me msrp for prismatic etb on release day but when I was going purchase it. Just like the other review says, he is charging scalper's price. The person I once knew who I thought gave fair prices to true collector's and players is now a Scalper himself. As he only cares/worries about people buying products of off him and reselling SOO MUCH! that he decides to jack up his price to the fullest.

Want to talk about going off of tcg price then? Okay no problem certain yugioh booster boxes prices has drop can you match with amazon then? answer? is no obviously. You only do tcg prices when it satisfies your greed.

Next issue here. I agree with another review here. If you dont spend more than $100 here. You'll be faced with his filthy attitude. Are you going buy something or not? that kind of attitude. People want to browse first and know the prices. You cant pressure people into purchasing right away and tell them to get out. There is a difference in loitering and browsing. I know that annoys you.

I dont like how you treat me the last time I was there. Soon as I walked in you said you got some one piece in. okay how much? In front of 5 other people, you ignore my question and told me "Get in line like the others!". First of that's rude, I just walked in and want to browse the shelf first and haven't even decided yet and yet you belittle me like that in front of others! If you feel so ashamed about your one piece prices being asked in front of others. Then could it be a scalper's price? hmmm.....?

Another thing, button up your shirt! No one wants to see your hairy chest that is REALLY sticking out. its gross! You have your shirt halfway button down. afternoon that day you decide to tell my friend that I am no longer welcome there. When you yourself couldn't tell me that in person and talk this out like an adult. You know what they say "grow some hair on your chest" but apparently you need more. No problem Van after (10+)years of supporting you. You take it for granted(No true appreciation!). Giving false image to people thinking your doing this for true players and collectors instead its to feed your scalper's greed. Van cannot accept any criticism like a grown adult. Never met a comic book shop I didn’t like...until now. In town for a little getaway for my wife’s birthday. Muse is just down the road from where I stay when in town. Pretty excited to learn there was another shop nearby. I have a close friend with me that does not read comics, so I can’t do my usual browsing routine. So, new releases, to see if there is anything from my short list of misses from the last month. Nothing, but I finally decide to pick up Venom200, because it is a sweet variant I hadn’t seen. Next, I want to check for Spider-Man Unlimited(2004)#8. I need a quick gift for my wife and she loves all things Joe Hill. As long as it is not a $50 book, it’ll be perfect. Finally, I need to check for any of Marvel’s ROM books. Trying to complete that run for a lifetime now. Oops. Someone is in that aisle already; I’ll take a quick lap to check out the rest of the store and oh..oh...there is my opening. I enter the aisle, start flipping through books and then the guy from behind the counter approaches. He wants to know what I’m looking for. I tell him I am browsing. He demands to know what book. So I tell him, he points to where my fingers are holding my spot and says “It’s right there” and scurries back towards the front of the store and loudly comments to another browser “ You’re the kind of customer I like to sell to, ones that are going to read the books, not try to flip them for profit”.

You are a fool. I started buying and reading comic books over 40 years ago and at just under 17,000 books (All read or waiting to be read) how many have I sold? 0. What are my books worth? Don’t know. Don’t really care. I’m not a prospector. Pure reader here. I’m the guy that would rather get 50 books out of a $ bin than get one $50 key...do you hear me now?

But what if I was? Customers aren’t allowed to do whatever they want with a book after they purchase it from you? Do you sell books for the same price that you paid for them? Weird.

Very upset that I don’t have that Venom book now. You get a F. Also, F you, F that store, F the vehicle and the shoe brand that shares your name....

My first expeience here was a lot nicer but both times ive been here the employees act in a very strange manner and their customer service is virtually non existent. The workers here need to take a crash course on social etiquette especially if they are running a store they expect you to buy from let alone even return too. I will not ever be returning to this card shop because of just that. Every other small local card shop ive been to has been a fun and enjoyable experience either connecting with the employee working over the cards or games themselves or just being friendly in general and i left here with a feeling of disgust in my stomach. I never would like to feel judged or unwelcome in a place intend to give my money too. Honestly you are better off just buying singles online or just buying bulk from a general store the prices are practically the same at Walmart and definitely cheaper online if you find a good verifiable seller or website.
