I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Woodhouse Spa in Briargate, Colorado Springs and I found the ambiance to be truly exquisite. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by Hannah at the front desk, whose beauty and welcoming demeanor provided a delightful introduction to the serene environment. Her exceptional service was a perfect match for the luxurious atmosphere of the spa.
During my visit, I opted for a deep tissue massage with Farrah, who specializes in neuromuscular issues. Her technique was outstanding, and I appreciated her professionalism throughout the session. I also indulged in a dermaflash facial paired with a chemical peel from Alicia, my esthetician. Aliciaās knowledge and articulate explanations enhanced my experience making the facial not only relaxing but informative.
I alsohighly recommend adding the halosauna to your treatment. This private service combines infrared technology with dry salt therapy, promoting vasodilation this increasing blood flow. This assists in alleviating chronic pain and enhancing overall wellness and longevity. Additionally, the spa offers complimentary beverages such as tea, wine, champagne, or mimosas upon arrival which I. My opinion adds a lovely touch to the overall experience. I was thoroughly impressed with my time at Woodhouse Spa and look forward to returning in the future. Overall, it is a remarkable establishment that exemplifies exceptional...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe atmosphere is beautiful and the hostess was friendly but thatās where my positive experience ends. I have been to many spas all over the western United States and I used to work in the spa industry so I have pretty high expectations.
My massage at Woodhouse was my worst massage experience Iāve ever had. First off, The masseuse did not ask me what pressure I preferred so I had to constantly remind her. Secondly, the lights were barely turned down and the volume of the music was pretty loud for a spa. The towels the masseuse used were cold. After my massage, the masseuse did not wait for me outside my room when I finished dressing. This is pretty standard at every other spa Iāve been to. Iāve never had to stumble out into a dark hallway, alone, trying to find the locker room.
I shouldāve own that something was off about Woodhouse from the beginning when my appointment was changed after making it through their website. I got a text from an unknown number about changing my appointment from 6:00 to 6:30. Thirty minutes is a not a big deal but no explanation was given. Whatās the point of making an appointment if itās just going to get changed?
This review is written under a pseudonym but if Woodhouse wishes to contact me about my experience, my initials are TB and my appointment was on...
Ā Ā Ā Read more"That was the ultimate in relaxation." That's what my wife repeated multiple times after her message this past weekend.
We are preparing for a move out of state and my wife's back and neck were super tense and I knew that she needed some well deserved "maintenance" to be able to keep going. She has only had a couple of messages in her life, but she NEEDED this one. I surprised her with the "Woodhouse Signature: Calming Retreat" message and asked that they add some deep tissue work, since I knew that she needed some extra pressure in areas.
The staff was very patient with me as I asked LOTS of questions to ensure this was the right place for my wife. They then followed every request that I made to ensure my wife had a wonderful experience without any pressure of being upsold or even how much of a tip to leave.
Krissy took care of my wife and did an amazing job. My wife loved that from the time that she arrived to completion it was quiet and there was very little conversing, so she could focus on relaxing and enjoying the experience.
I don't think things could have gone any better. Thank you very much to the staff for taking such good of her, I truly appreciate it. (I don't typically do reviews, but I felt this one...
