I always get the midnight cookies and cream dazzler sundae and the last 5 have been made differently each time. Be great if you could get everyone using same good recipe so I can enjoy equally every time. Also, why is the air-conditioning on when it's snowing?
Update: owner contacted me offering explanation and to meet me at store to prepare a sundae for me themselves. Although appreciated I never know when I'll be there so haven't taken advantage of the offer. However, I did stop by recently and got a sundae, prepared but apparently new employee under someone else's direction which turned out to be mostly cookies, not much in the way of hot fudge or ice cream. Will probably try again sometime since I really enjoy this dessert when prepared properly but just be aware of swings in consistency.
So, went in today, I'm the only customer and there's one person behind the counter. Was going to order a sundae and stood by the register, counter person asked if I needed something, I said yes and she said she could help me down at the end of the display freezers. Shouldn't the server come to the customer to take an order? Once I met her by the freezer I thought better of paying premium price for sub par service and left. Really frustrating as this is the only store in town but can't keep taking a chance on service, preparation etc.
Ok, I give up. $8.60 for this.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreUsed to love this location. Today when we tried ice cream here the vanilla ice cream tasted sour like frozen yogurt, Iām now sick thanks to eating about half of it. My family member threw out theirs after a couple bites as it tasted off too. Somehow both of us got salty pieces in ice creams that arenāt supposed to be salty. One employee was new but definitely wanted to answer my questions and asked the other employee about them. The woman who was supposed to be training him flat out ignored one of my questions and told me she didnāt know whether the hot fudge contained gluten or not. Iāve asked that about certain ice creams before so I know that previously people have looked in the allergen book on the counter that was out and visible today. We were the only people in the entire store so I know the woman heard my other question but she didnāt bother to even give me a response. This store has gone very downhill in terms of food quality and customer service. We regret having gone in there today.

However, the owner walked out from the back, while the employee was preparing my ice cream. The owner proceeded to watch over the employees shoulder causing obvious nervousness and discomfort.
To make the whole visit even worse, I then watched the owner slam her huge, expensive purse up on the counter and completely empty the employees tip jar directly into her purse in a very unprofessional, and unorganized manner.
The one thing that destroys any and all respect I have for a business, is when the owners very obviously mistreat employees, and practically steal from employee compensation in the form of tip skimming.
I would be concerned that this act in itself would warrant an investigation into the income reporting, and employee compensation practices of this ownership team.
And before the owner comes on and says āIām an ex-employeeā or something, I have never visited this establishment, and...
