Came in yesterday dying of thirst, so I just wanted a drink of water, but to be fair because I understand the cups aren’t free I ordered a large drink (which I honestly didn’t want for their soda or teas just water and this was communicated to the cashier) I then asked her if I could just purchase 2 additional regular sized cups for water as well and they ended up charging me $14.04 for 3 cups that I literally filled with nasty tasting tap water. Now if they had bottled waters that would have been a better solution but I didn’t see any and she didn’t offer when I was clear all I wanted was water. Then she gave me the incorrect change which required a manager and they seemed more annoyed that they had to come help me get my correct change never mind the fact that 3 other people were able to order whole meals before I could pay for these over priced waters. I know this is more of a one off situation, and overall I don’t have an issue with Panera. In the past I’ve always like their food, but I just was beyond disappointed by the lack of customer service and the silliness of the whole situation. I have never had any company charge me full price for a cup intended for water I had a long drive home and the mini one with no lid would not cut it. That being said I am not kidding the filters or something needs to be changed because the water is still sitting here because it was too nasty to drink it tasted like copper, but for $14 I could’ve bought 2 cases of water for that! it’s things like this that will literally make me avoid this location...
Read morePanera, I want to first say you usually provide excellent service and good food. I am leaving a complaint today not because I am angry, but because I am asking you to change one policy out of respect for your customers.
I came in today with my friend. She has a medical exemption, so she does not wear a mask in public stores because she cannot breathe with it on. I was wearing a mask. We politely told the manager why she wasn't wearing a mask, but she asked us to leave because Panera does not serve guests who don't wear masks, even if they are medically exempt. My friend was embarrassed and offended that they turned away her service. She tried to explain that guests took off their masks when eating food, so after she ordered her food she would sit down and eat. But the manager said no, and I had to order for my friend.
Panera, change your policy, please. You will have more customers come in with medical exemptions. Wearing a mask is not an option for them. I have co-workers with medical exemptions, and they are treated equally in the work place. Be understanding of the sick and have compassion for those who are struggling. If you really care about the health of your customers, then you will care about all the sick people, and not just those with...
Read moreThe customer service at this particular location is horrible and the staff is very very rude and sarcastic. My brother and I walked in at 859 thinking they were still open since people were inside and lights were all still on. So we proceeded in, an employee was sweeping beside us while we were looking over the menu for about 2 minutes and then we went over to the other counter to order. Two employees were discussing over I suppose who should take them and then finally once decided who would take our order they tell us they close at 9 and only have certain soups for us to choose from and thats all. I then asked why couldnt someone have mentioned your time when we first walked in? We just moved here from Florida and the one near us closes at 10. This morning I decided to call ahead to see if there were anymore breakfast quiches and whoever answered told me that they only serve breakfast until 1030 and that it was wayyyyyy past that time so therefore they have no more very sarcasticly and in a harsh demeanor, when I called at 11:20, not that wayyyyy past it but again just checkingg before I waste my drive. They just made it easy for me to never have business with them again. Very...
