You really need to get it together with the Colorado Springs location. You either have OK service or the worst possible service ever. Today I go in for happy at 3 o’clock with my daughter who’s 24 we going for margaritas there’s one bartender for everybody that’s in there for happy hour. There’s no servers the manager that was there was rude when I asked to have a booth or if we could sit in the bar she’s like basically Pissed and saying well that’s the only place you’re gonna sit. Never helped the bartender get out of the weeds! Myself and my daughter both works in customer service she is at a coffee shop, and myself a server! this is unreal. It took over an hour for four margaritas, we got chips and salsa and then it took an hour for tacos to come out and when my daughter is Brea tacos came out , asked for the queso trio and it didn uffins! These pancakes are an amazing go to for something quick and healthy for the entire family. You can also add a sprinkle of baking powder for really fluffy pancakes

And a simple recipe is just protein powder, an egg and some nut milk. I like to spread almond butter on top with some fruit too 🥞give protein pancakes a try and share with me if you loved them🥞

She didn’t eat her tacos. She was very upset when she left to get any type of service we were checked on twice we asked for chips for our salsa. Those never came out and the manager on duty is helping the bartender who is swamped that is not ok! This is my daughters favorite restaurant, but I don’t think we’re gonna be coming back for a while. I’m sure you don’t care because the way this restaurant runs up here. It’s just like the service is horrible. I’m sorry I’ve been in the service industry since I was 16 I am 50 now I took a break in between but I work at some high-end restaurants here in Colorado Springs and this is unreal, no waters refilled no nothing! Other tables were also upset. It was horrible. The fact she was so excited for her food and all she ate was salsa! The manager that was there didn’t even visit the table to make sure that we are OK or that she would want something different. It was just comped very unprofessional. The manager on today was very unprofessional. Just super upset with his...

Well, the Christmas atmosphere is very exciting, the service here was so repulsive that myself, and my other 30 party members will never return to this restaurant. These one server in particular was a black haired male, who instead of performing excellent Customer Service chose this as an opportunity to advertise on at least 5 to 7 times throughout our hour and a half service that he was a financial advisor at Northwestern mutual. Because they kept asking us to move our table due to other patrons wanting service we moved to the bar where we were consistently told to move. I prefer to spend my hard earned money in locations that are actually here to serve individuals. We were trying ti catch up with old friends and colleagues that we have not seen over the past year. However, due to consuming three alcoholic beverages over a four and a half hour timeframe, this server in particular decided to instruct us that he would need us to leave and also leave with a ride because we would be a liability to the restaurant, despite the fact that we had been consistently alternating water and beverages, for those 4.5 hours due to the fact we were laughing and enjoying each others company. We were not behaving unruly or in any type of manner that would be disrespectful to the company, however we were asked to not come back, and again he had to add at the end of his lecture, the fact that,l he was working for Northwestern mutual as a financial advisor. I was one of the designated drivers for this night and also my friend who is pregnant and does not drink (obviously) was there and we both experienced this servers attitude firsthand which repulsed us from the entire company. Point blank, we will not be back. We had stated we are just seeing old friends from long times and we are not drunk and yet he continued to harass us regarding driving home, etc. I am so disgusted by the way that entire establishment handled the situation and the fact that we spent over $1500 that night not including the 25% tip added onto this bill. It is just insulting. I highly recommend that whoever is in the mood for Mexican food, Find a establishment, more worth their consideration that will treat them with respect, and they will not just be a number as far as an hour and a half trying to get us to leave the table and move on with the meal. Despite all of these, we continue to be kind to waiting staffand respectful to other patrons trying to attend...

UPDATE AS OF 6/16/25:

I want to thank Ricardo the culinary director for going above and beyond after my experience in the review below. He was charismatic and ensured we truly enjoyed our time. You have earned my business back and then some. I hope the next time I pop in, I get to see Ricardo again. Also, thank you to Sabrina and her attentiveness as a server. She was friendly and checked in with us to make sure we were doing well. I loved that the staff, including Ricardo and Sabrina, took the time and signed an anniversary card for my husband and I.

ORIGINAL REVIEW (⭐️⭐️) on 5/25/25:

I went to eat in the bar seating area for brunch at around 11. My friends were already there. Our waitress (blonde) arrived to the table with a trainee and greeted us. It started off well and she took our order pretty quickly after. However, it went downhill from there. It appeared that she actively avoided our table - no eye contact, walked by us multiple times, no check ins until about maybe 20-30 minutes after we got our food. My friend pointed out it appeared she rolled her eyes when we would try to look over to her. I wanted to get a drink but by the time she came to check back in with us well after we got our food, we were pretty much done with our meal and my friend asked for a chip refill so we could finish our appetizer we got. The waitress seemed to have disappeared after the - manager - appeared to have started his shift. The trainee came by and checked in and asked if we needed anything. We asked for our checks and he seemed attentive once he took over and apologized as it was his second day on the job. Poor guy didn’t have a good mentor. The other table who also had the same waitress were also visibly annoyed at the wait/drop off of the female waitress. Again, the male trainee ended up taking over that table as well. I am not sure who she was but this was a completely opposite experience from my first time where I had great service and attention from the waitress. Unfortunately for my friends, it was their first time. Willing to give the place...

My Neighbor Felix is a Colorado Mexican chain that serves amazing food and even better drinks. There are 3 locations as of the time of writing this review: LoHi, Centennial, Boulder, and Colorado Springs. If you're looking for a spot to relax and have a good meal with a drink or two or to impress a date, I would highly recommend My Neighbor Felix. First off, the food we ordered was absolutely amazing. Given that it is an American Mexican spot, I will admit that my expectations were set at a moderate level, but I was blown away. We ordered the My Neighbor's Nachos, Salsa Trio with Chips, and Churros. They were all a 5/5 but the nachos in particular were... well just look at the picture attached to this review and you'll get it. I have to give a shout out to Dannica, the bartender that made our phenomenal drinks, and Abby, our server who never left us waiting. I have been to many bars and have had many drinks made by some awesome bartenders and I can say with confidence that Dannica is a particularly talented mixologist. Whatever drink you want, Dannica will make it and it will be the best version of that drink you've ever had. Abby was the kindest, most attentive server I think I have ever had. She made our experience the best we could've asked for with her personable attitude and professionalism. I can't wait to be back and based off my experience here, I will definitely be checking out the other My Neighbor Felix locations in the near future!

Second time here and likely our last. Cocktails are decent but some of the portion sizes are rather skimpy for the price, e.g., the queso fundido. Small bowl with cheese that barely covered the bottom. Paid extra for a tiny spoonful of chorizo tossed in. This last visit we got the guacamole, which came out looking more Iike tiny cubes of avocado — not even completely mashed. Flavor was non existent, as well. The skirt steak was rather good and cooked perfectly. The sopapilla cheesecake was pretty darn good, too. The real kicker is the additional 2% charge for using a credit card. As a small bar owner I know firsthand that credit card processing fees add up, but I also know customers don’t like to be nickel and dimed. It’s a cost of doing business. I especially got a kick out of the wording at the bottom of the receipt. Everyone at the table agreed it’s written to imply it’s the law they charge a processing fee. That’s not the case. Businesses may now add a charge to offset the fees they pay, but are not compelled to pass them along to their customers.

Really impressed with this place. We stopped in for dinner on a busy holiday season weeknight. Got a table for two with no wait at all. Dining room is lively and well done, though a little loud as it’s an open kitchen and a large open space. Only real complaint is it was pretty cold. Every time the door opens the wind/cold from outside was very noticeable. Looks like it will be great during the summer as the walls are moveable. Service was excellent and so was the food. Don’t expect massive portions like some Mexican restaurants but we certainly didn’t leave hungry. Everything was fresh, delicious, and unique. I will definitely be back. Love having another great option for delicious fresh food close to home.
