Exceptional service and genuine care for customers! I had one of the best experiences I've had in a long time here! My kids' console HDMI port broke during summer break, they were understandably devastated bc gaming is their life! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted and my son was thrilled to see some of the original gaming systems on display. The atmosphere is really cool - I loved seeing items from my own childhood! When I asked if they had the Xbox model my boys needed, the staff member went absolutely above and beyond. He didn't have the exact digital version we had, but he showed me one on the wall, then brought out two additional consoles to test right in front of me. Even though both had the same HDMI issue, his transparency was refreshing. He then checked upstairs and while he didn't find one ready to go, he offered to rebuild one for us if we wanted to wait for a little bit. After grabbing dinner with the kids, we returned to find everything completed and ready! The speed and quality of service was incredible. The staff was not only professional but genuinely fun to interact with - I found myself laughing throughout our visit. I'll definitely be recommending them to everyone. KIND BUSINESS ALERT Legacy Games is truly a rare find. From the moment you walk in, you know you are somewhere unique. Staff is outstanding. Barney was working the day I visited. He couldn't have been more helpful. Even a customer, John, was helping me find games and making suggestions. Great atmosphere.

On top of the atmosphere are the great selection and great prices on just about everything in the store. Some items are MSRP, like the Evercade games, but that's still cheaper than what others try and sell them for. This is the largest selection of Evercade games and consoles I've ever seen in a physical store.

Stores like Legacy Games, GameChangers in Michigan City, The Item Shop in Bloomington(IL) deserve your patronage because they are small local businesses.

where to begin? ok, the couple who run this place are very nice and knowledgeable people. the selection of games and consoles is small, but covers most video gaming, from old, old school, to new stuff. the prices are fair. now the best part, they repair consoles, and they do it at the best price i can find. they were so good, that i made the drive from elkhart indiana, to have them repair 2 playstation 2 consoles for me. not only did he fix them overnight, but he cleaned them up and made them look as new as possible. i was so pleased with the service and staff, that i even offered to let them write their own review, but they declined. if you live within 50 miles of them, and you go anywhere else to get your video game consoles repaired, you are overpaying. i will be returning as much as i can to check out their stock, as should anyone...
