Let this be a warning for people considering coming here. I'm still disgusted by my experience. I went to this store with my friend for some braiding hair and ended up finding what I needed (I got seven packs of the Outre Kanekalon Jumbo Braiding Hair - each pack was $1.99). I happened to pick up some texturizer, shampoo and conditioner last minute before taking everything up to the register. After everything was rung up, my total came to be more than I was expecting. I looked at me receipt and realized that I needed to put the shampoo and conditioner back and just get them another time. I politely told the Asian cashier that I would have to put the shampoo and conditioner back but keep the rest of my purchases. She takes the shampoo and conditioner back and then suddenly comes from behind the counter and SNATCHES one of the packs of hair from out of my bag (mind you, I've already purchased all of these packs of hair). I looked at her in a confused way as she went back behind the counter, because I was trying to figure out why she just rudely snatched my pack from out of my bag. She takes my receipt and points at it where it showed the hair that I bought and kept saying, "Each pack 1.99." and I told her that I understood that and I paid for it and that all I wanted to do was put the shampoo and conditioner back - which had NOTHING to do with the hair. I mean, really? It was almost like she got pissed off that I wasn't spending more money. As she kept talking she then decided to raise the prices of the hair only for me. I was so upset with this, I just told her to keep everything and give me all of my money back. Absolutely ridiculous. I went to another hair store nearby right afterwards and found just what I needed. The employees at the other hair store were more diverse and polite, although they did have a lot of asians running that store too (like most beauty supply stores). These Koreans are making so much money off of black people, it's crazy. Every time I go to a beauty supply store it somewhat bothers me in a way, because I'd honestly be happier if I knew I was supporting a black-owned business. I'll even make it my goal to find a beauty supply store ran by black people... but this is besides the point. I'm never visiting this place again because I refuse to...

I travel to Columbia just to come to this hair store. I love all of the different choices of hair at this store. The hair is not over priced and cheap looking. I've bought a few lace front wigs from here months ago and they are still holding strong, without all of the shedding and balding. They have a great selection of braiding hair, crochet hair, and supplies. I love the mirrors located where you try on the wigs. My only flaw with this setup, is you should move that area to a different area in the store that is a little more discreet. Some women may have hair loss issues, etc and would rather not try on a wig, while the other shoppers just have to look to the right and BAM, all eyes on her. The young ladies that help you find what you're looking for, are very nice and they know a thing or two about hair. The owners of the store could stand to be a little more personable and it wouldn't kill you to crack a smile or two. I know you have your eyes glued to that live surveillance footage but you're loyal and faithful, paying customers deserve your attention as well. The entrance needs to be paved, there are pot holes that need to be filled. The store is clean and well kept inside and outside in the front area. They sell costume jewelry, hair bows, beads, hair rollers, combs, brushes, etc. They have a lot of other things as well, but I only see them on my way out of the store, so I can't name the items. I only come there for the hair. The eye lash selection is good as well, you will surely find your favorite pair of lashes and the prices are standard as it would be at any other hair store. FALSE ADVERTISING!!! This is usually my go-to beauty supply store but I was extremely disappointed with my visit earlier today. I went in to get some of their 24in Cuban Twist and found multiple packs of the hair marked $4.99 and multiple packs also marked $6.99. I told who I believe is the owner and an employee about the two different price markings on the same hair and told them I am willing to pay $6.99 for the hair that is marked that price, ONLY if I am allowed to pay the $4.99 for the hair that has that sticker as the price. They told me that I had to pay $6.99 for all packs and there’s nothing they can do to change that, even though again, multiple packs were marked $4.99.
