Another update on 7/ 24/2025: a quick check in with Dr Ross today to follow up on cholesterol levels and medications I am on. My appointment was at 11:30 and I arrived at 11:20. I checked in and was not in my seat more than 6 minutes when I was called back. After my blood pressure was taken and weight I went into the office and immediately met with Dr Ross . As always, Dr Ross was polite and courteous and friendly but at the same time professional. He asked all the relevant questions and followed up with asking if there's any questions I had or anything I needed. Once I assured him I was satisfied he sent the phlebotomist in to take my blood test. That went smoothly, painlessly and quickly. It was then on my way out of the office in a matter of minutes. Dr Ross is and will continue to be my primary physician until the time comes that he fully retires. The staff he is hired around him is excellent from the receptionist on the telephone to the technicians and support staff and his very excellent physician's assistant staff.
Another update on 5/21/ 2025 visited with John who is one of the Physicians Assistants at Dr Warren Ross's office today. I seek out John because he is a former ER physician's assistant and has seen "everything under the sun" . John was courteous and helpful with great bedside manner and extremely knowledgeable. He immediately recommended some blood tests and an ultrasound and told me he would get back with me in a day as soon as the results came in. I continue to repeat myself by saying that I highly recommend this physician's office when you are in need of a primary care doctor and staff.
update, 3/24/25: visited Dr Ross's office 2 days ago for a follow-up after having catheter mitral valve repair heart surgery at Johns Hopkins hospital. I arrived a few minutes early and was seen right on time for my appointment without any delay. One of the Physicians Assistants who I had not yet met greeted me warmly. We chatted a few minutes about his background before settling into the questions about my health status. John, the PA, was very courteous, engaging, warm and professional! In this day of being seen for about 2 minutes at a doctor's office this was the way doctor's visits used to be. I continue to be pleased with Dr Ross's office and the medical services I receive there.
Update 1/24/2025: continued kudos for my primary physician, Dr Ross . I had an issue arise on Wednesday regarding an inability to get a TEE surgery procedure at another provider*s hospital and called Dr Ross for assistance . I got an appointment the very next day to discuss the issue and he rectified the medication contraindications immediately.
Dr Warren Ross has been my primary care physician for the past several years. I have a great patient-doctor relationship with him and we talk about many things in addition to purely medical issues. He is straightforward, unassuming, and calm and collected in his examinations and his comments. Yesterday I had my annual physical and during the course of that I told him about an issue I was having with getting surgery scheduled. I was not getting calls back from the needed surgical facility. He wasted no time in getting on the telephone and talking physician to physician to help rectify the situation. I've always had a lot of respect for him as my doctor but now I have even more as he was very attentive and alert to my needs and anxieties. I'm not sure if he's accepting new patients but if he is I would recommend him as a good Primary...
Read moreI wish to share details of my experience as a patient of Dr. Warren M. Ross. I am a retired professional with careers in sacred classical music, speech-language pathology and special education administration. I have been a patient of Dr. Ross for several years, although I received medical services from Crossroads Medical prior to becoming his patient. When I began receiving medical care from Dr. Ross, I had a number of chronic conditions including obesity, elevated cholesterol, high blood pressure and pre-diabetes. These conditions were being managed by prescription medications which caused severe adverse reactions resulting in deteriorating health. Because I had experienced these adverse reactions, I discontinued their use and felt I needed to seek help from a physician whose philosophy involved a holistic approach to patient care. The specialization of Dr. Ross in Integrative Medicine seemed to be the alternative I was seeking. Becoming his patient has been life changing.
Everything about his practice has taken traditional medical treatment and patient care to another level. His emphasis on patient education has been empowering. I now feel a greater responsibility for management of my own health with support and monitoring from him as my primary care physician. Because of my prior negative experience with prescription medications, I prefer to address my health needs with vitamins and dietary supplements which are available in the well managed and well stocked apothecary which is a part of his practice. Additionally, to obtain and maintain my ideal weight, I am receiving nutritional counseling from a certified nutritionist on his staff. Results of office visits and physical examinations are handled expeditiously and efficiently due to the onsite Crossroads Medical Lab. The reports issued following these visits are comprehensive and educational due to the level of detail and explanation.
Because of recent weight loss and the use of recommended dietary supplements, my most recent physical examination was stable with normal findings in a majority of areas tested, and of particular concern to me, reversal of pre-diabetes and consistently elevated cholesterol.
With the exception of the need to continue my program of weight management, I am experiencing the best health I have had in decades. Considering the fact that I am an older adult, this is a remarkable achievement for which I am eternally grateful. I feel tremendously blessed to be a part of this extraordinary medical team under the supervision of Warren...
Read moreIf there was less than one star I would have given it to him. Don't be fooled by his webpage. He is totally western medicine. I don't have health insurance so I called ahead and was told the fee was $250 but included blood tests to see if levels of things were out of balance. So far so good but once I got there I had my doubts. First of all there were 5 receptionists, showing it was a cattle call, quick in and out operation. Then I was confused when the nurse asked if I had my Gardasil vaccination. Huge red flag there for those of us that wanted the natural part of "integrated" medicine. The doctor spent 10 minutes with me, read a doctors report I had from 2011 and prescribed the same western meds as the doctor did back then. He said there was no need for other tests because it was clear what I had. I asked about side effects of the drug and he had to look them up on his phone. I couldn't get out of there fast enough. OK, so upon leaving they say I owe the full $250. I said that included tests and I wasn't getting any. They said that was because I didn't need any, if I had it would have included them. Bottom line was that was his flat fee. I asked them to confirm that with the doctor and yup, that was it. I was ready to jump over the counter. Any further fuss and I'm sure they would have called security. If you want something other than straight western medicine do not waste your money on...
