My wife saw an item posted on Facebook from a vendor at this store. The MOMENT it was posted she was what we thought at the time lucky enough to se it instantly. She messaged the vendor and asked if it could be put aside that she would come and get it right away. The vendor said sadly there are NO HOLDS WITHOUT paying for the item. That made sense but sadly the store was closed. My wife tried to call just to make sure. So we arrived at the store far before they opened to pay for the shelf and even started calling to pay ahead of time. We spoke to the owner of the store just to have her say she already sold it! She sold it out of store hours, with NO DEPOSIT! None! This unfortunately was a very rare shelf my wife had her heart set on. We don’t have much money and she had been in search for quite a while. She started to tear up as the owner sorta chuckled in shock stating that she had a lady crying on the phone speaking to someone else she ended up just hanging up on my wife no goodbye just hung up! At the end of the day these things on earth will all parish and we have to hold them with open hands. I think it’s also wise to keep in mind how we treat people and the impact we can have on other people’s lives. This was simply bad business. The owner broke store policy by holding an item after store hours with NO deposit. She broke store hours and broke my wife’s heart. We will be choosing to avoid this business simply because the owner had an opportunity to correct her mistake and sell it to an in person buyer or take the full payment over the phone and she chose not to. She chose to laugh towards my wife’s feelings and buckle down on her bad business choice. People’s character is worth more then and item and something to keep in mind. God Bless and...
Read moreStore was clean and a wide variety of items for the home. the prices were higher than other stores of its type. I did buy some items and when I checked out I had to wait for the lady to come back to the counter. Which is fine with me, it was a slow day, she was the only one there, I did not mind waiting. But when she got there, I was friendly, but she was not. She said, you have been in here an hour and you wait till I leave to come up to check out? (I did not know she had left until I got up to the counter, really??) . She had no smile, no laugh, no how are you? I told her I did not mind, no worries. I paid. I then asked if they were going to be open on the holiday and she said she did not know but it would be nice as they slow and they should be able to spend time with their families too. Seems like someone is not happy. i won't be going...
Read moreI am from out of town and found a cute piece of furniture I wasn’t expecting to buy. When I went up to the front desk to complete my purchase the lady with the black hair was very disrespectful and the first thing out of her mouth was “I hope you brought your muscle.” And proceeded to point to a sign. When I said I mean I guess so she said well you have four days to pick it up. I told her I would be taking it today considering I don’t even live in the state. I understand that it might be your policy for customers to be able to haul away their own items and I understand. Coming from a customer service background it is not what you say it’s how you say it. I might suggest that your employees go through some basic customer service training so they understand the basics of not being...
