WARNING: DO NOT GO HERE!!! I went here with my boyfriend about a week ago right before we were supposed to house sit for his parents out of town. The day before, we went in to get him a basic pedicure and myself a set of acrylics. Never in my life have I ever had an acrylic set done SO poorly and SO heavily. The next day my fingers hurt so bad. After my boyfriend's pedicure, he had a super bad hangnail which he called in for the next day inquiring about the pain we both experienced after. WHEN YOU GET YOUR NAILS DONE IT SHOULD BE PAIN FREE!!! They told him they were too busy and to come into the store the next day. We were leaving out of town so that was not an option for us. Per usual, my boyfriend decided to tough it out since we were house sitting but over the passed week his pain has gotten SIGNIFICANTLY worse. His toe get so infected with pus and redness/ irritation. He had a hard time walking around the house let alone putting shoes on! We just got back from our trip and I went into Orchid Nail Spa in Powell, OH which I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend!!! <3 They did an amazing job. I was only there to get my nail color changed but when they saw my acrylic set at first glance they said they were WAY too thick and not put on correctly. I was only there to get the color changed but after he took the color off the acrylics LILY NAILS originally put on, my nail technician found a huge blood blister across my nail which was the source of my pain right after the appointment. It was after this discovery right after I got back from out of town that I decided to call LILY NAILS and tell them of my boyfriends infection (as seen below) and my blood blister UNDERNEATH MY NAIL (seen below). When I called I was even more disappointed at the treatment I received from THE MANAGER after I told her I had pictures, call records, and a billing statement from my bank. She told me I was lying and I should have called earlier (even though we did) and that they have never had someone get an infection and that there was nothing she could do and she even HUNG UP ON ME BECAUSE SHE DIDN'T WANT TO BELIEVE THAT SHE LITERALLY CAUSED PHYSICAL HARM BY HER SERVICES. I have worked at Michael Kors, Tesla and Apex Energy, all companies that have the HIGHEST STANDARDS FOR CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE and I can honestly say I have never ever received a treatment quite like this. I paid over $100 dollars for the set of acrylics, gel polish and a pedicure and have bumps, blood and bruises (literally) to show for it. Please if you take away anything from this DO NOT GO TO THIS BUSINESS! They do not take responsibility for their actions and I would not be surprised if they were out of business in less than a year.

**DO NOT RECOMMEND** First time coming to this salon after moving closer to Downtown Columbus. I booked an appointment online, however she didn’t know what appointment I was speaking of— however she quickly got me in and started on my pedicure. The pedicure experience was honestly quite nice and the toenail polish looked great (hence the 1 star). While I was getting my pedicure, the only other customer there got up to leave— mid-service. She said that she had been waiting there (fingernails in acetone) for 45 minutes. The employee simply shrugged and let her leave. Next, I moved onto my nails. I told her I wanted acrylic nails with a specific red polish. They were out of the polish but that’s no big deal! I picked another and we sat down to get started. She started prepping my nails for gel— promoting me to say “I want acrylic nails” multiple times, as well as on the booked appointment. She finally understood and scraped the gel base off of my nails, which obviously did not allow the acrylic product to adhere. She spent over an hour and a half to 2 hours applying the worst set of “oval” nails that I have ever seen. None of the nails are the same length. Some are angled to the side. Some aren’t fully painted. The pictures prove it. Please note that I did ask her to fix the mistake multiple times, however she just pushed the calculator toward me and shared that she took $10 off of the total. I asked her to fix the mistakes DURING the service. I’m sad because these services totaled $173. Money I planned to spend on QUALITY nails. I’d do more research about the best nail salons in the area, and avoid coming to this salon at all costs. I leave for vacation in 2 days and my nails are awful.

I do not recommend this place! The first picture is of a VALID coupon from the Entertainment Columbus 2021 book that I bought. It has their address and wasn't expired. They refused to take the coupon and said I could take it up with Entertainment, while claiming they don't partner with that company. My two friends and I went there today, May 17, for our 1:00pm acrylic appointments. When we arrived, we were not greeted, but rather asked why we were there. It was as if we didn't have appointments or they didn't take the time to ask our names or check their records. One of my friends didn't get taken care of until 1:20pm. Apart from sitting in silence for the whole appointment and the workers having headphones in while doing our nails, we were extremely up-charged and paid very unfair prices. Rather than $35 acrylic sets, they charged us $50 and $65 and did the math in their head with no receipts. Also, did not inform us of additional charges, made them seem free. From the pictures, you can see what I had shown them vs what I received. Nail edges were not cleaned up, brush strokes were uneven, and extremely overcharged. $10 for the white squiggles. Even have a cut on my finger from the aggressive buffing and filing. Not pleased.

My experience here began well. I went in for a mani/pedi plus french tips. A nail technician helped me choose a base color for my nails. I was seated in a chair for the pedicure, and it was lovely. The chair massages you as you sit, and it was amazing. Helped me relax, put me at ease. The tech doing my nails was very thorough and made my feet feel great. At the end of my pedicure, I noticed she had not done french tips, just a solid color. You could also see the streaks of nail polish on the nails, and the nails on my big toes had slightly different shapes. But I didn't make a big deal if it, because who is looking at my feet that closely, right?

I paid for my service then, before the manicure. It was $54 altogether. What a steal! Right? I tipped $11, assuming that I was going to be leaving happy.

During my manicure, the tech filed my nails down. I'm not sure why, as they were already quite short, but I didn't say anything, because I assumed she knew what she was doing. But she filed the hell out of them! After everything was done, I found myself with very short nails, all filed into different shapes (she literally wasn't even looking when she was filing some of them), and all with sloppy, uneven french tips of varying widths. And the color didn't match my toes. I asked her to please redo them, and to refund the $5 for the french tips, because I didn't want them anymore.

Another nail technician offered to redo them with the tips. I was hesitant, but she was very reassuring that she would do a good job, so I accepted. She started by filing my nails even more. She checked in with me after doing the tip on one nail, which I was pleased with. But after she finished all was done again, I could see that it wasn't much better than before. None of the other tips were as thin and neat as the first. The tips were sloppy, and looked very awkward because my nails were all different shapes. Some nails had paint hanging off the edges.

I asked for them to be redone again, all solid color, because I figured it's hard to screw that up. So a third tech did them again. And they came out sloppy, again.

No refunds on services, but I was very unhappy, so I asked for my $11 tip back. They put up a fuss, but did eventually give it back. "Who asks for their tip back?' one of the techs says right in front of me. Someone is is very unhappy they spent $65 on ugly nails, that's who. I left with nails looking worse than the ones I walked in with. I got this done for a photo shoot I am doing tomorrow, but in the end I am just going to remove the polish they put on and apply stick-on nails from CVS.

What a waste of money. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra $20 to go someplace where they know what...

I’m not usually one to leave a review but the visit I just took to this salon definitely warrants one. I recently moved to town to attend OSU and since the salon was close to my apartment I figured I’d give it a try since I needed a gel fill and had broken 3 of my nails during the process of moving. First of all, I arrived about a half hour after they opened and was the only customer in the salon, at first glance the place seemed clean and decent. I was sat right away and the woman who had her air pods in the duration of the appointment began working on my nails. She painfully peeled the remnants of my broken nails off and when she saw I was in pain said “you’ll be ok”. About a quarter of the way into the appointment another nail tech came in with her children and dog. I’m very lax about the whole family in the salon idea but when they arrived with their dog a similar one came running from under my nail techs desk and the puppies proceeded to wrestle, growl, and bark on the ground. This cycle continued the whole duration of my appointment with the addition of the little girl running around eating various things while sharing the food with the puppies. When my tech got out the purple My tech told me to wash my hands which is the usual indication they’re done filing, when I looked at my nails I realized the ones she had repaired were extremely longer than the original ones and so I asked her to file them down some which she begrudgingly did. Once it was polish time she didn’t use a base coat and I had to ask her to do 2 coats of polish. To finish it off she put oil on my cuticles and never wiped it off. To top this experience off, when it was time to check out my total came to $60. In my personal experience with acrylic nails I’ve never paid over $40 for a regular gel fill. When I asked about the pricing I was told it was various fees for length, the maximum amount for the repairs, and a fee for shaping (despite only 3 nails needing shaped). My nails are lengthier yes but I’ve never been charged for the length of them in the 3 years that I’ve been going to various salons, not to mention my tech did not communicate any of these charges to me as she was doing my nails. Extremely unimpressed with my nails as they are uneven, textured, and were overpriced coupled with the unprofessional of the salon made this by far the worst nail trip I’ve ever taken. When I expressed my discontent I was given an apology as if that would suffice. DOOOO NOT WASTE YOUR...
