Went to Shake No 8 for the first time today with my dad and my sister after they said they were craving shakes. Upon entering, we were immediately warmly greeted by two voices behind the counter. We were standing at the register looking at all of the options they offered. After telling Said it was our first time, they patiently gave us a rundown of their menu options. We ultimately decided on the Sweet & Salty and the seasonal Strawberry Cheesecake. Took a seat in their very beautiful and inviting dining area and waited for our shakes. The shakes were gorgeous works of edible art and you could tell Shanna and Said were proud of their creations. They tasted as amazing as they looked. Overall their service was top notch and their product was delicious. So why the 4/5? The price, tbh. I did have a little sticker shock at 2 milkshakes that cost over $38 with tip, and while the shakes were good, I’m not sure if the product alone was almost $40 worth (service and atmosphere made this a little more palatable) For that reason, I don’t think this is a spot you can frequent, but rather a special celebration like a birthday or a date night! Again, to reiterate, Said and Shanna were fantastic hosts and I was very pleased with our decision to come! Definitely worth a special try!

Everything I've had here is out of this galaxy amazing. The shakes are artistic and visually out of this world. Beautifully created by the hands of a master artist straight from CandyLand, your taste buds will be transported to a twisted, exciting and fun departure to the Willy Wonka factory itself. The shakes are so delicious, I would have sworn that i heard oompa loompas singing while pushing it up through my straw, into my mouth. My wife had the blackout brownie shake, lite crepe, and i had the traditional strawberry milkshake, a peanut butter and chocolate crepe, and a hot chocolate to go. All of it was delicious. I think Jesus cried his actual tears of love inside of the hot chocolate that I got to go. That was an amazing hot chocolate. Best I ever had. We will definitely be returning. Best place in this universe. When your shake is presented to you.. I bet you smile. Everyone smiles when they see their shake... Conclusion: artistically prepared shakes make people smile. Be happy. Have a shake & a smile at "Shake No. Eight".

Update: *** First off it was way less than 50 ppl, it was 5 people already there, and we made it seven. The shake was basic. Stated the only thing worth it was the decorations. I’ve had better shakes from a gas station. UDF is down the street, as stated before customer service is horrible and they showed it below, and it’s been stated multiple times from other customers. Sad, you have to make time to respond to a wack shake shack because they don’t realize customer service makes the business continue to grow. The fact we traveled, spent 30 min looking for a place to part. Sent a chat message to inquire about parking before we decided to pay a meter. I left a tip before being served, I know better next time. When it doesn’t all come together your business won’t stand long. Now, let’s take a star back. Not even worth that, but I’ll bet they’ll tighten up after this post. Stop making excuses and sharpen up your customer service. It’s possible this place runs on excuses, so employees left too, or they left and never came back behind the entitled attitudes. It’s self-serve but the store has a tip jar. Why, when I’m serving myself. The store can’t even fit 50 ppl. Even if it was self-serve the server shouldn’t have came from behind the counter to deliver an order to a table. Customer Service makes the experience not worth it. Your paying for the decorations, so pricing is not a complaint. Noticed the server bring the shake to one table, but we didn’t get the same service. Tables aren’t wiped down after someone leaves, noticed sprinkles. The server decided to bring the tray to my table and stated it’s due to the shake being messy. When in reality it’s to limit them from cleaning. No soap in the bathroom to wash your hands. Then they have signs requesting you to bring your trays and class up once your done. Honestly, take the time to make the stuff yourself by using icing to make the stuff stick, and have fun with the little one’s. Two stars is only for the decorations. You’re doing everything else for them.

Out with a friend, I mentioned wanting a cheesecake shake. Not with clumps of cheesecake either. Looking for a good dessert after dinner, we decided to try Shake No. 8 and maaannnnnn! She got the Oreo Supreme and really liked it. The gentleman then asked me if I liked red velvet and cheesecake 😋 Duh! So, for a limited time, they have The Lovers Shake. It is a legitimate red velvet cheesecake shake, with a piece of red velvet cake AND candied popcorn. Let me tell you, best shake I've had to date. I will definitely be back! **********UPDATE********* So, I went back with my son. He ordered the Oreo Supreme. This time I ordered the Ohio Blackout, previously the Brownie Obsession. Both were amazing and just as decadent as I imagined. But the best part, when we were asked if we had been there before, I answered yes and that I had the Lovers Shake last time and the gentleman remembered me! Even remembered where I sat. As a customer service trainer, I appreciate that level of service and awareness! Can I give 6*?

As an allergy girlie, this shop is sooo respectful and considerate. I felt very little anxiety about enjoying my delicious dessert with an aggressive dairy allergy. They have separate mixers, tools, utensils, and I watch gloves being changed before and after my preparation. I felt safe as if I was making it myself. It was perfect and tasted delicious. With speaking to the owner it showed that he genuinely cares about providing a safe and enjoyable allergy friendly experience for all of his guest. To the shake. I ordered the *Vegan (Dairy Free) Oreo Supreme. Visually camera ate it up. I also ate it up. The constancy was similar to a thinner pudding which made the eating experience so good. I normally have to skip on whipped cream due to the allergy, BUT they have a house made dairy free Whipped cream and they are not shy, no small portions. Overall: will be returning for all of my milkshake desires. Will be recommending to everyone. ♥️ Owners recommendation is the blueberry pancake milkshake!
