Lujan’s is hands down the single best source of jewelry you will find anywhere in the Columbus and neighboring areas. I recently got engaged and the process of searching for the right stone(s) and setting was an arduous process, until I found Lujan’s. Nowhere will you find a greater selection of quality craftsmanship and jewelry. Wayne and his wife are incredibly knowledgeable, proficient, and friendly. I even stop by occasionally just to chat with them, they are great people. They helped me dial into the type of diamond I wanted as well as accompaniment stones and setting. All their stones are ordered loose, as well as pearls and other items. They do all of their own work there as well. The words “superior quality” comes to mind when thinking of Lujan’s Jewelers. They are honest and friendly folks and will not hesitate to educate their customers in the finer points of gems and jewelry. With their help I was able to secure a beautiful .80 point diamond at an amazing price. They even matched up my two accompaniment stones with the same quality, clarity, and cut of the center stone. In the end I had a magnificent ring that was custom built for my Fiancé’. If you are not yet convinced, here is some food for thought. Let me start out by saying that everyone has different experiences in life. My experience with Lujan's Fine Jewelers was horrible. I took my bracelet that I purchased together with a friend of mine in Japan to Lujan's to get repaired. At first, Wayne was really reluctant to work on it for whatever reason, but he worked on it and repaired it. However, he didn't repair it in time enough to get it back to me before I went on vacation with my fiancé which was really disappointing because I wanted a piece of jewelry to wear and that was my only one. When I got back from my vacation and picked it up my bracelet ended up breaking twice after that, and after each time I took it back to him to get repaired, and it still ended up breaking. He repaired it once more before I took my second vacation to panama city, and it ended up breaking there as well. I lost my cool and ended up throwing the bracelet in the ocean to never be seen again. In my opinion, if Lujan's Fine Jewelers once wore the crown, they don't anymore because they've lost their hunger to satisfy customers which is the most important aspect of the job. Have known the owner and operator professionally for approximately 30 years and can say that I trust him completely. He has made several pieces for me to include my engagement ring and wedding band that my deceased husband gave me. Wayne is so creative that he mounted the diamond from the engagement ring in the middle of the wedding band and made a single pendant worn as a necklace. Absolutely beautiful and the comments from others are never ending. He has also removed diamonds from old pieces and placed them in a bracelet. Over the years, my current husband purchased my engagement ring and later had it set in a one ring platinum wedding ring. Recently, Wayne resized my grandmother's engagement ring that has been passed down thru my family. I could go on and on about the quality of his merchandise, repairs, sizing, and service. He also has repaired the prongs in a diamond cluster ring. There has never been a worry or second thought about leaving my most valuable pieces with him.
