I started coming to Rock City in June 2020. I’d been attending a traditional Presbyterian church and was VERY involved: choir, deacon, VBS, etc. but found it difficult to watch online when the govt shut everything down. Our then 17 yr old daughter had started going to RC in Jan and each week would invite me to watch RC w her in our living room. After weeks of saying no because it looked way too different from what I was used to-one morning I said yes. And that was it. LOVE the worship music and the preaching is always on point and applicable to my life. When Pastor Chad opened up the churches in October, we went to Polaris. I’ve been involved wherever needed, from holding babies and watching toddlers, setting up coffee and cleaning up the bathrooms, going to camp with hundreds of middle and high school kids, to being on the safety team as a nurse. We just opened up a new, much bigger church in Polaris because we literally had to make room for more ppl. This church is alive and growing because God is with us for sure. Over 50,000 ppl have been baptized at RC in 14+yrs. It may be intimidating because it is a large church but it’s easy to feel connected to others by serving on a team, for example greeting, hospitality, parking, or kids and/or join a small group of like minded individuals who are looking for friendships with fellow Christian brothers and sisters. Come. You don’t have to dress up. Just come as you are....
Read moreMy husband and I discovered Rock City Church during the COVID outbreak. We started watching Pastor Chad’s sermons on TV and later on YouTube. Since Easter, we’ve been attending in person at the Polaris location. Every Sunday, I eagerly anticipate the service. Although I’ve been to church most of my life, I’ve never experienced a feeling like this anywhere else.
Pastor Chad and his team of pastors are exceptional speakers. I love them all! The music and worship team is incredibly talented and skilled.
There are a few unique aspects of Rock City Church that you might not have experienced at other churches.
1.) When you arrive, you’ll be directed to a parking space. Make sure to remember where you parked. 2.) You’ll be guided to your seat. They start in the front row and fill up the floor seats first. Then, they move on to the riser sections, filling them from front to back. 3.) It’s a bit chilly inside, so be sure to bring a jacket or sweater. (I haven’t been to church in the wintertime, so I can’t say for sure.)
The reason for the first two is this is the location where they broadcast the services for the other locations and live streaming so it’s important to start on time.
I love Rock City Church and think that it is a wonderful place to worship the Lord and grow...
Read moreWe started attending RC in summer of 2021 and it has been life changing for our family. My husband and I and both of our daughters serve in RC Kids and my oldest is involved in the youth program. From kids to youth to young adults, all the programming is wonderful, Bible based, age appropriate. The Sunday worship experiences are top notch- whether Pastor Chad or a guest speaker, every message challenges us to be more Christ like and based solely on scripture. The worship team is phenomenal! The new space is large, but small groups and serving teams help make it feel “small”. The amount of community and global outreach are mind blowing. Lives are being changed every single week. It is an incredible church and I’m so glad we found our...
