STOP! AFRICAN AMERICANS NOT WELCOMED!!!!!!!I have shopped this Michael's for YEARS. We have lived up this way for at least 8 years now and always shopped at this place. The world is changing and today was a prime example of the way White people think they have the right to treat African American people any way they want too as if my money doesn't spend the same way theirs does. Store #2873 visited on 10/16/25 time 14:03/14:08. Cashoer was extremely pleasant to the customers before us who obviously looked like her, even having conversations with the customer behind us who also looked like her. My mom and I got to the counter where she was anything but PLEASANT. She first told me how my coupon wouldn't work because my"barcode" wasn't the right color. The color of the back ground on my phone is black, she then called some women who said she was the person in charge at the time she showed the same coupon on her phone that had a white background and miraculous it worked. The cashier could not wait to tell me about 5 times how she helped me and I should be thankful that she helped me as if this wasn't her job. She continued to talk down to me as if I was some sort is peasant that should be thankful she was there to " help me" at all. I then asked for a manager and of "course" the same lady who had the phone and tells me she's the "person in charge start the moment". And she is anything but remorseful for the way I was treated by her employee treated me. She came over and instantly started to defend her employee with no knowledge of the way I was spoken to. She made me out to be the bad guy as if I had done something wrong. I explained to her that they were losing a saddle because of the attitudes of her employees she relied "oh that's fine", as if my black dollars eye not welcome and don't spend like anybody else's. This is extremely racist staff that made me feel unwelcome in this establishment. It was ridiculous I spent all this time shopping in the store to get to the register and have to put it all back. Upon walking in and asking an employee, she shrugged her shoulders and said “oh yeah we aren’t having that today”, no apology or care on the world. So I said, well we signed up to come online and got a confirmation email, no cancellation email - really just letting her know this so that they can understand this should be changed online - reservation should not be able to be made at this site if they are not hosting. The “manager” walks up, also giving zero care that we arranged our day to attend and that my kids are disappointed. I mention again that we booked online, my point again being that they should correct that. She said, well you can just go to another store that is having it. At this point it’s 2pm and I’d be driving kids another 15 min (after 30 already) to get there. (Not to mention I called the store she mentioned and they also weren’t having) The manager was incapable of recognizing my concern around the customer service and lacking any concern about the customer. Even when I explained this to her, she still was not understanding that good customer service would have said “I’m so sorry you drive here, I’ll try to contact them so no one can sign up when we aren’t hosting”. She was sarcastic in telling my kids and I to have a good day, walked off and slammed the door. Sadly, she never understood the issue at hand. They are just literally …I’ll take your box and drop it in the mail and it is not made clear that that is what they only do. I will be letting Bose the company know that, this location shouldn’t be advertised as an easy shipping option. Amy, the manager on duty told me I needed a box so she couldn’t help me but did not make me aware that the store has boxes I can actually buy and it didn’t dawn on me until I left. Went to target came back with box and tape, and then she told me at that point… That she was sorry but there’s no way to print the label but according to my email from Bose… This place should be able to scan in a barcode and ship the item for me. But I just wish I had all the information before I did the “runaround” so I’m not really happy with the “I’m sorry I just can’t help you ...
