I can't believe what I was told today. For as long as I can remember, I had always had a great service at this location and the other location (when they were downtown). I have been coming to Spiller's every since I got my 1st apartment (1996). My grandmother (Mrs Hicks), have been doing business with this company for as long as I can remember and I'm 38. My uncle just bought some furniture from them also. I was told today that I couldn't use the down payment that I put down on a lay-a way awhile ago, because if you cancel the lay-a-way you just lose your money. I went to the store the next week and told them that I was not going to get it. The sales person told me that I could not get my money back and I replied "Oh I know, I can just use it on my next purchase." So after being told I couldn't use it today, by Larry,I call another location trying to understand this. This sales person calls back to the Columbus location and then tells him that the store credit was expired. When I was told that I could get a store credit no one said that I had to use it by a certain date. Yes, it has been 8 months. He tells the other sales person it's almost been a year. I usually make online purchases but this particular time I wanted to compare the textures of furniture so I went into the Columbus store. Tryonda Hairston, the sales rep that helped, was AMAZING!!! I never been in a furniture store that was so nasty for real everybody in there sitting down on their phones ,need to get up and clean up I wouldn't buy anything out of there even the furniture on the floor some of it was dirty yeah they speak when you come in the store but they're not trying to sell anything I just don't understand why everything is so dirty even the floor who manages that store I'm just saying it doesn't make you want to purchase anything out of there, well I...
