Tech This Out -Phone Repair — Local services in Columbus

I called earlier today to ask if they do tv repair and inquire about their hours of operation. They informed me that they would be open until 9pm. I told the employee that I would be there later today after I got out of work with my tv for the free diagnosis.

I showed up about 6:30pm with my heavy flatscreen in hand and the door was locked with the lights on inside and a movie playing on the monitors. I knocked a few times; I called 3-4 times and got their voicemail each time. No note was left on the door. So I waited.

A young woman showed up to pick up their (hopefully) repaired phone and so we both stood outside the store front waiting.

Ten minutes passed. Twenty minutes passed. Thirty minutes passed. Forty minutes passed.

I called again even though no one walked past us and opened up the store. I figured, maybe they were on break in the back and I just couldn’t see them.

After an hour, I left and I am taking my business elsewhere to a place that cares for their customers. If you advertise store hours and verbally tell a potential customer your hours of operation, but have to leave for whatever reason, at least post a note on the door. Common courtesy. Professionalism. Business 101.

I won’t tell you to take your business elsewhere. I never got to see if their quality of work is actually decent or not, but what I can tell you is that they didn’t show me tonight that they cared about this customer or the other young woman that waited out in the cold for over an hour.

Brought in my mothers bose CD player for her stereo bc it was getting stuck. On the 1st visit they claimed to have fixed it so we paid $100 and brought home. Well shortly after the same thing happens and we bring it back. That was almost 2 months ago and we heard nothing so we contacted them to find out what was going on, well we find out they have no idea what's wrong with it and they've yet to look at it, they ask us what the first date was when we brought it in and we couldnt remember and they tell us there is nothing they can do bc there are no notes on what's wrong with the system. We are now picking it up and looking for a real repair shop. This place sucks and clearly doesnt care about customers. You can hardly get ahold of them bc the phone always goes to voicemail or the doors are Locked, I urge everyone here to find a repair shop that actually does their job. Please avoid this place he is a ripoff I took my phone in to get my front and back fixed I have no issues with the back but front first time he used a fake apple screen to the point my screen would stop working and in the setting It ket telling me to replace my screen s I took my back to him, he calls hisself fixing my phone still not fixed it i have lines going through my screen and only half of my screen works. And now he is refusing to fix my phone saying it has been dropped and and it has not and it over heats now and he saying it because of my battery needs replace.
